Day 231 of 365
"The Day We All Held Hands And Gaped At The Sun"
What to photograph today........oh, right!! So, I had no plan in regards to how I would photograph today's solar eclipse. I thought I would find my longest lens, throw every filter on to it, and hope for the best. Well....that's what I did, and it seemed to work. I found my old 70-300, balanced my three darkest filters precariously on the end of the lens, and did my best to focus on the sun (moron), and took a few exposures before the maximum exposure at 10.21 AM. For the record, I shot at 10.23, as I was now focused on creating a pinhole camera. In the end, it was more about being in the moment, and waiting for the end of days. Thanks for blocking out some time to read this.
Great Couple of hours sunday morning at #adacrallyedeutschland , ill definetly need to visit another @officialwrc event at some point in time. Pictures solely #canon5dmarkiii w/ the zooming prime #70200mm . Post-processing in #lightroom is great fun with so much latitude in the raw files.
// So, this past Saturday I finally got to go to the Renaissance Faire!
I haven't been there since I was in middle school so it's been at least 9 years.
It was so awesome!!! And on top of that it was Celtic weekend which made it ten times as rad. Kilts were everywhere...and I mean everywhere.
I'll be back next year. ♡
I don't really care if it's relevant to my photography page, but this goat dude was pretty cool. //
