Well, this is my breakfast this morning☹️ woke up with a killer sore throat, just in time for midterms!!! Uhg. Finally getting around to eating 😋 🍳🥓🧀 I thought I should let y’all know how dangerous sweets are. I met a mom at the park today and we struck up a conversation. Her little girl had a chocolate chip cookie from Subway, and she was sweet enough to split it with Walter. Walter only has about a select 15 foods he eats, and chocolate chip cookies aren’t one of them. Evidently he dropped some of the cookie on my shoe, and I didn’t notice. It’s pretty warm out today, so the chocolate melted ALL OVER my shoe. Good morning IG!!!! So I've been getting requests as to what my meal plans consist of. To be completely honest it's pretty basic 🙋🏻My meals typically consist of one of my protein options with either a 🥗 or some veggies sautéed in a bit of Pam cooking spray. I do not fry or cook my food in oil, butter or margarine. If you enjoy eating red meat you can I personally removed it from my diet a few years ago. I do stay away from carbohydrates and sugars. For dressings on my 🥗 I use lemon and vinegar with some dry spices. I know there are other many more options when on a keto diet which I'm slowly learning about and researching.... FINALLY. Broke my stall, finally saw a decent loss this morning! Thank goodness, I was getting so frustrated not seeing any changes! During my stall, I definitely saw more non-scale changes, like jeans fitting better, but it’s nice to finally see that translated on the scale. I am officially 47lbs down! Happy Thursday everyone!

Being only 5’3, that extra 45lbs sat very heavy on me! I started with a keto diet on May 3rd 2017, and I’ve lost a total of 45lbs through diet alone. I have slowly began introducing a weight lifting routine, but very minimal at this point! A keto diet is high-fat, low-carb lifestyle, and basically everything I eat is featured on my page! I drink a lot of water, between 2-3L per day. I don’t follow any sort of meal plan, I just decided one day to try a keto diet and I found success. The best tool I’ve used is tracking my food in the app myfitnesspal, it really puts things in perspective! .
I have recently hit a stall, I have been hovering between 174.5-175 and it is so frustrating!! I have been increasing my water intake, fasting more often, and started going to the gym. I’m hoping it’s just bloat/inflammation from introducing a new workout routine...but it is driving me insane!! I am competing in a DietBet and I definitely have plans for that $$$ if I win, so if you guys have any hot tips, I would really appreciate the scale moving in the downwards direction!
Cheese chips to end off the night! I was majorly lacking in the fat macro, so these definitely help! Bake at 375 for 9mins, then I broil for like 30seconds. Wait 15mins for them to cool and get crispy! YUM.
Left my water bottle at home! But definitely trying to keep my water intake up, so this is my set up while I finish assignments at Starbucks! My drink is a cold brew, with a splash of heavy whipping cream, sugar-free vanilla, and light ice!
Ok..time to get real 😐 This is where I today - back in the 190s 😱 is it a surprise? No. Is it upsetting? Yes! Honestly since end of April Ive never gotten back to Keto. Ive went back to the dark side of carbs and fast food and its so miserable on the dark side. I am disappointed in myself but I dont want to wallow in pity I need to take this as a lesson learned and not look back. I remember how Keto made me feel and I want that back!! Ive been using food as a comfort instead of a fuel. I will persevere, I will recommit and I’ll be honest with myself, instagram fam and others. I’ve been reflecting a lot on how I seem to be running myself into the ground, and giving my energy to other people, without thinking of the consequences on my mental health. I’ve decided to keep myself at the forefront of my priorities, whether that be set time aside for dinner with my boyfriend, go to the gym, or simply treat myself to a face mask.
