IT'S NOT EASY BUT IT IS SIMPLE. Waking up early to get your workout in. Passing on that donut you really want. Prepping your food ahead of time and sticking to a meal plan. Believing in yourself when no one else does. That's hard work.
Put in the work and sacrifice to be your own hero. You never know who you may be inspiring along the way! Got in a great 30 minute cardio workout with my boo this morning in just 30 minutes and burned 398 calories! 🔥
Recovery day tomorrow and that completes week 1 for us. DAY 6 OF 80 WORKOUT COMPLETE!!! ✅💦💪🏼
Guess what day it is! LEG DAY!
Definitely need to work on those Buddha squats 🤔😁

So for the longest time I’ve hated cardio. I’m a bad runner. No bounce, short legs, kind of a stocky frame. Even when, in my early twenties, I had a period where I ran every morning for several months, I didn’t progress very much. If I keep at it for a couple of months or so, I can get to where I can run 5k without stopping. Yeah it’s that bad. I hate running.
So I’ve been exclusively strength training for almost 5 years now with some kettlebell work thrown in intermittently. Then I listened to the interview with @drandygalpin on @marksmellybell Power Cast and he said it *might* be a *problem* if it was two years since you did cardio for more than 30 mins straight...
So I started with the goal a couple months ago now of doing cardio, mostly on my spinning bike cause I still fucking hate running, for 3 times a week... One or two of those is steady state, and one or two is high intensity interval training. Feels great!
So thanks @drandygalpin it’s been very uncomfortable but I guess that in itself means I need it. My resting heart rate has gone down about 10 bpm from before. I have to really exert myself to get my heart rate up now. And it drops off quicker.
👊🏻 Over and out 🤯
Ever get confused about fruit? Yep it’s easy with so much conflicting info about it 😕
I can help👇🏻
Firstly, if you join our FREE 4-Week Fat Loss programme (link in bio) you can learn why it’s not bad at all
Secondly, I’ll help you out with this question
Fresh fruit 🍇 - great on a diet, full of vitamins and fibre ✅
Dried fruit 🍌 - great for bulking as it contains a lot of calories ✅ but not so hot for trying to diet as it won’t keep you feeling full for as long ❌
Let me hear your best fruit myth that someone has told you or tried to claim is “correct” 👇🏻
As I’m on my own tonight, I decided to go for some real comfort food for dinner after my final cardio workout of the week 🚲
Paprika chicken breast with sweet potato mash 🍠 and five beans 👌
Does anyone else find that when they have to cook for others they can rustle up a 5 course banquet but just can’t be bothered when they’re cooking for themselves?!🤔🙈
Looking forward to getting the final #bbg workout of the week in tomorrow morning at the gym and then relaxing for the rest of the weekend 🙌

😃Of course you should, it’s tasty and in no way dangerous, fattening or disease causing
🤔However you may need to be aware of your intake and some of the potential drawbacks of eating it
✅You can eat sugar
✅Don’t demonise it
