I hate cardio.
I hate the middle of the night.
I hate cardio in the middle of the night.
The middle of the night is anytime before 5am... I don't care for this week, hopping is not my thing, so I take out the hopping when I can an then feel like a failure because I'm taking the easy way out.
I can't hop.
I can handle the week though, and the next four of trying something new each week.
Day 11: Body Beast. Cardio & Abs. I wish I could say Cardio gets easier, but it doesn’t. Still, you’ve got to push through. Did I think that I’d die? YES. Did I do it anyway? HECK YES. Did I modify a bit to get through it? YOU BET. Whatever it takes, right? The truth is, we can do hard things. Shut down that inner voice and push hard. If you would have told me 1 year ago that today I would be sitting at my table checking in with women on THEIR fitness and nutrition journey...I’d have probably started laughing hysterically! 😂
If you would have told me that I would have missed MAYBE 5 workouts so far in 2017...you’d have to help me pick my jaw up off the floor. 😵
If you would have told me that I’d be bursting with confidence (most days...I’m not perfect!) and sharing my story with others...I would probably have had an anxiety attack in that moment. 😣
If you would have told me that my closest friends and family would join me on this new lifestyle journey and were seeing incredible results, and that I helped them get there in some way...I probably wouldn’t believe it. 😐
If you would have told me that changing my lifestyle would have empowered me to want to share this gift with others...and that I would be helping pay the bills by doing this...I probably would have woken up from a dream! 😝

Some days I crush my workouts. Other days my #littleman needs a bunch of attention and gives me hugs. (Yes I am aware my little man is a 110lb #mastador 😍) But hey...my workout buddy is way cuter than yours! Good thing these at home workouts are cheaper than a gym and I don’t have to worry about my dogs being at home all alone while I run on the dreadmill for the 💯 time 💁🏼
After 25 semi heavy squats there 25 strict press @85lbs, 5 deadlifts @220lbs, 25 bench press @85lbs, and 30 seated box jumps... then I got to work out with my favs... @travisjenkins0

Super freaking proud of this little man!!!! Not only did he present/go over all this scores (with the teacher 😉) during the conference, BUT he's excelling so fast this year!
He's come so far.... from being the shy one, always second guessing himself, nervous to do/say the wrong thing (like I used to be 🙃) . To opening up and getting involved in more school activities and just being HIMSELF around others!!! So proud of him!!! Oh the places you will go!!!! 💗💗💗 #ThatsMyBoy 👉🏻 always 😛🤘🏻 for pics 😂. Anyone else just not feel like working out?! Or just not motivated, ever?? 🙋🏻 Ahhh this is me too almost everyday. This morning I woke up with a headache, I was freezing and just had a lot to get done before I go out of town. BUT I also have to remember that if I only did the things I ‘felt’ like doing, I wouldn’t be very far in life. Goals would never be reached. I constantly remind myself that it’s a BLESSING to be able to workout. That my body is healthy and even though I don’t feel like it, I just need to do it anyways because you always feel good once is done....oh, and it’s my job lol so that helps too 😜🤷🏻♀️
What kind of human would I be if I didn’t struggle? This week’s struggle followed me all the way from Orlando and became a stage 5 clinger 🤦🏻♀️ I’m in between gyms right now and could not find the motivation to workout or eat right. I could see and feel a difference, and I wasn’t liking the results. Luckily, a few chats with my beautiful accountability babe @courtney_shipp816 was just the spoonful of sugar I needed to get my butt running again. It was a slow and painful 3.25 mile run (knee pain kicked in after only a mile) but I feel fulfilled!!!And the clouds were kind enough not to dump rain on me the entire time. Thanks Courtney for being the inspiration I needed today! 😘

I have been on the struggle bus this week. I am not the biggest fan of cardio dominant exercises. I was extremely happy that today was strength day and I was able to go up on my weights for most of the moves. My body is liking this program, so I have to work on my mindset and get my head in the game😜👊💪🏻
Over the summer I won a trip to New Orleans they changed my life (again) forever. I was able to workout live and in person with one of the most inspiring trainers @chrisdowningfitness. This man has a way of pushing you without screaming, making you cry because you believe in yourself, and is the biggest teddy bear but can make you hold a squat for an eternity. 😂 It was a very eye opening day for me and I think back to the thoughts I was having often, when I don’t want to show up for my own health.
