Quando posso preparo un dolce fatto in casa. Spesso si tratta di una una torta di carote o un'altra torta a base di frutta o verdura, anche se il mio gusto propende per il cioccolato 😍. Inoltre, poiché la mia colazione e la mia merenda sono dolci, facendo in questo modo limito il consumo di merendine preconfezionate, cercando di usare ingredienti più salutari (frutta e verdura, appunto). Non so se le foto rendono l'idea ma la sofficità di questa torta è fenomenale! Posso scaldarne una fetta per 10 secondi a microonde e mangiarla con un cucchiaino... e senti tutta l'esplosione di carotenoidi! Sostanze utili per una buona vista, una buona abbronzatura (d'estate...ahimè! 🐚) e soprattutto sembrano efficaci per prevenire alcuni tumori, sia nell'uomo 🎩 che nella donna 👠 ★

When I can, I prepare a homemade cake. Often it is a carrot cake or another cake made with fruit or vegetables, even if my taste favors chocolate 😍. Also, as my breakfast and my snack are sweet, doing so limits the consumption of pre-packaged snacks, trying to use healthier ingredients (fruits and vegetables, indeed). I do not know if my pictures make the idea but the softness of this cake is phenomenal! I can heat a slice for 10 seconds in microwave oven and eat it with a teaspoon ... and you can enjoy the whole carotenoid explosion! These substances are useful for a good sight, a good tanning (in summer ... alas! 🐚) and above all they seem effective to prevent some tumors, both in the man 🎩 and in the woman 👠★

Chicken cacciatore, made with...you guessed it, yesterday’s bone broth 👏🏼 So nutrient rich and FULL of flavour, oh and easy, can’t forget the easy part. Eating well can be inexpensive, quick and easy, you don’t need fancy super foods and crazy ingredients. 🌿

Recipe: season chicken thighs (5) with oregano, garlic, chili, lemon and EVOO (don’t actually need to, I like extra 😉) oh and preheat the oven to about 180. 
In a big sauce pan sauté garlic, oregano, S + P, chili and onion in olive oil. I had some left over red wine (I know 😳 shocking!) so I  used that, you don’t have to though. When that has cooked for a bit add 1 jar tomato passata, I tin of tomatoes, and 1 tin full + extra glug of bone broth then just simmer that baby down for about 20. Hot tip I save the rinds of my parmesan and I chuck then into sauces for flavour. 
Next heat a pan and sear off the seasoned chicken on both sides so it gets a bit of colour then add to a baking dish, pour sauce over top, scatter a few olives and bake for 20 or until chicken just pulls apart. 
Now 2 things, 1. You do NOT need to season and sear chicken first.  2. You can cover the dish if you want it to be saucy-er or leave uncovered if you want the sauce to thicken and reduce. Then just eat with noodles or veggies or WHATEVER you want. I  finished with fresh basil and parsley plus goats cheese for me and parmesan for the hubs 💁‍♀️ oh and served over roasted veg tonight.

As always you don’t need all these ingredients just the spices and go for gold at will!

Makki di roti & sarson ka saag...
Makki Atta or yellow corn flour is made from dried yellow corn kernels. They are ground into a powder finer than corn meal. Makki atta is a common flour in India for making rotis. You must be devouring the sarson ka saag and makki ki roti combo especially now since it is the winter season.

The added advantage of makki atta is that it does not have gluten in it. It is a healthy alternative to wheat flour if you happen to be on a gluten-free diet. Apart from being free of gluten, it has a number of essential nutrients in it. So, to boost your vitamin and mineral intake, you must include this flour in your diet.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink plenty of clean, quality water to keep your cells well hydrated from the inside!
2. EAT YOUR FRUITS🍊🍋🍑🍓🍉🍍
Eat fresh foods rich in carotenoids to naturally protect your cells from the inside out. Mangoes, paw paws, carrots, melons, strawberries are plenty now! Eat them! Check out our delicious #g3 juice blend for extra load of antioxidants! 😋
3. CHILL OUT ❄️❄️❄️

Carotenoids are the New Black | I wouldn’t be caught dead in this color, BUT consuming + applying it topically to my face ( in the form of @odacite 🥕🥕🥕 oil) is another story altogether! | I’m too frozen to cook, so I’m warming up with some sweet potato purée (coconut oil+ nutmeg+cinnamon) that I made earlier, and topping with cacao nibs and #montys nut butter, obv.
