Cowboy steaks are traditionally thick-cut bone-in rib eyes that are grilled over a hot fire, and they are known for their big, beefy, smoky flavor. We turned to a cast-iron skillet to replicate this Southwestern classic indoors. Tap the link in our profile to access our Cast-Iron Cowboy Steak recipe today.

Vegetable soup with black-eyed peas.. black-eyed peas are rich in protein and fibre, and contain some of the strongest anti-cancer, anti-diabetes and heart-protective substances in nature. They are hard to find as dried beans here at times, but the local health food store ordered organic beans in for me 🌿👍🌱 I tried planting, but non germinated. Something to order from somewhere south of Canada 🇨🇦 for next year 😉 #blackeyedpeas#healthyfood#foodismedicine#garden#growyourownfood#organicliving#plantslant#castiron#soup
Made this veggie frittata for breakfast with some of our haul from the Tauranga Farmers Market on Saturday. Zucchini, sweet pepper, chard, asparagus and garlic. Not to mention farm fresh eggs, which are essential. The perfect way to start the day! #breakfast#castiron#vegetarianfood#frittata
