#Amazon went on a chopping spree today cancelling 3 series - #ILoveDick , #JohnClaudeVanJohnson and #OneMississippi . I Love Dick and John Claude Van Johnson both recently premiered their 1st seasons while One Mississippi was in its 2nd season. The #streaming service recently picked up a number of series so they needed to clean house a little. As long as #Catastrophe remains there, I almost don't care what else gets cancelled.
Here's a #shoestory : So after a morning workshop, rushed to a meeting during lunch hour, and just when I was about to enter the building, the strap from my fave black heels gave out! 😭 While deliberating what to do about this #catastrophe (pun intended 😹), these 2 cuties kept me company as we sat on a concrete bench. Eventually had to drag my feet (literally) around a very crowded block or so trying to find a store (any store!) that sold decent looking shoes. 😓 Happy ending though: bought nice new shoes and made it to my meeting. 👠😉
Having my first mini melt down... 😰🤬 I came home armed to finally fix our consistently frozen water pipes only to be faced with a bigger problem. See that frozen puddle of ice on the ground? Yeah- that’s from our kitchen sink flooding (from our attempt to keep the water from freezing by letting the water drip while the tanks were closed to keep the tank release from freezing 🙄) •
So there is about 1/2” of standing water next to my side of the bed and EVERYTHING in the storage under the bed is soaked. I’m devastated because I feel like we’ve ruined our new home (I’m catastrophizing obviously). •
Thankfully we have family very close by so we are waiting for a shop-vac and extra towels.
Any one know if we are likely facing serious damage to the wall or other materials that were in contact the water? •
