Hi! I'm Joy. As you can see from my picture, I am a Great Beauty! If you are looking for a lap kitty that has a lot to say, that's me!!!! I'm a great kitty, but I don't show well at adoptions because I get nervous- and then people see that I'm "Special Needs". See, I have skin allergies. The vets feel that I'm super healthy- I just have allergies to nasty stuff (pollen, dust mites, FLEAS!) so I'm sensitive. I need a little more attention than most kitties, but I'm worth it!. I have responded well to monthly flea meds & some kind of shot (it isn't my favorite but they do treat me like royalty so I forgive them!). I promise- I'm the best and worth a little extra effort. You'll see! For more information on Joy please contact Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org
Did you know August 17th is Black Cat Appreciation Day? We'll be posting some of the black kitties in our foster homes all day. Here is Tulip's story: My name is Tulip and my foster mom says my personality is as beautiful as my namesake.
I was dumped in a large colony where a human REALLY didn't like kitties 😔
They would hurt the kitties living there and even tried to poison us. I don't understand why! You'd never guess I had such a horrible experience though. I still love humans because I know most of them are kind. I love to be pet and make sure my purrs are super loud so you know I'm grateful. I get along with other kitties, but I don't really play with the other kitties, and children and I'm just a delight! My wish is to live a safe life indoors with a furrever family. I know you're out there! 🖤
