As part of their studies about the origin of the Holy Rosary, St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School 7th graders visited the grotto outside of St. Anne Church's Rectory to pray the Rosary together during Religion class. #catholicschools#stannepacelli#powerofprayer
It was an awesome day at the CSCOE Catholic Schools Summit yesterday! It was a day filled with great breakout sessions, music, and Mass. The keynote speaker, @jonathan_doyle.co and the sand artist, Joe Castillo were inspiring! #CatholicSchools#CSCOE
1- Test Delivery Time> Schedule your newsletters to deliver when parents or alumni are likely to be checking their inbox. Generally, I stay away from the standard rules of “best” times to send. You just simply don’t know until you test and check your results.
2- Segment Your Lists >Target your message to a specific audience. Blasting Alumni with weekly updates on students can be counterproductive if they feel spammed. Rather, sprinkle in school highlights and send them information on events they can attend or may want to volunteer for.
3- Test Your Subject Line >This is my favorite thing to test. For me, it really makes a difference. People will be more inclined to open “Woodbine Academy Wins Big” than “Woodbine Academy Newsletter”. #vhelpsschools

“Make a Difference Day” is America’s largest day of service. People throughout our nation help to make this world a better place, and millions help others and millions of lives are changed forever. St. Mary School is proud to have been part of this program for many years, and once again, they will be collecting NEW Teddy Bears to donate to the Milford Hospital Surgi-Center, Emergency Room and Walk in Clinic. Approximately 200 children have surgery there each year, and these donations will help them forget for a moment what they have gone through and hopefully put a smile on their faces.
On Friday, October 27th, there will be a school wide collection and students who particpate are rewarded and can wear their SMS gym clothes day. On this day please send in a new teddy bear or make a monetary donation (which will be used to buy more teddy bears). Then, on Saturday October 28th, the public can donate a Teddy Bear in the lobby of Milford Hospital between 10:00-11:00am. Please tell your friends & neighbors to come and donate a Teddy Bear to this great cause. Thank you for helping us to warm a heart and “Make a Difference”. #smsmilford#smsjags1718#catholicschools#catholiceducation

Archbishop Leonard P. Blair, Provost of Education Sr. Mary Grace Walsh, and Superintendent of Catholic Schools Dr. Michael Griffin saluted 76 volunteers from 38 Catholic elementary schools at the 40th annual HOPES (Help Our Parish Elementary Schools) Dinner on Monday, October 16th. Each volunteer received a St. John Neumann Award for their unwavering commitment to their schools. St. Mary School is proud to recognize Alberto Acevedo & Kristen Luzzi as this year's worthy recipients. Al & Kristen, whose youngest children graduated last year, were chosen for their many dedicated years of volunteer service to our school, especially for all they did while chairing the Annual St. Mary School Carnival - which is just one of the many positions they held on the Home School Association throughout the years. Congratulations to you both! #smsmilford#smsjags1718#catholicschools#catholiceducation

The Choir’s gifts are bringing new attention to the blessings of Catholic education in our Archdiocese.
Please pray for these amazing students as they travel to New York City, for their dedicated teachers and the administration at Cardinal Shehan, and all of our schools! .
Please show your love and support for them on social media by using Good Morning America , ArchdioceseBaltimore and AOB Catholic Schools on your tweets and tag us in your posts! Thanks!
Teaching elementary music at a Catholic school has been more gratifying than I could have imagined. Each class begins by praying for a special intention. Today, for example, one of my 3rd graders asked if we could pray for Aaron Rodgers...we all agreed that three Hail Mary's seemed appropriate. @aaronrodgers12 #youcantmakethisstuffup#greenandgold#gopackgo#catholicschools#powerofprayer
