I collectively spent over 14 hours in the car this past weekend, and it was COMPLETELY worth it. So grateful for impromptu road trips up Michigan's coast to experience the magic of "up north". 🌲🌊✨Here's to nostalgia, new memories, and nature's beauty.
Our Cedarwood Essential Oil comes from Tibetan Cedarwood; this evergreen tree grows to an impressive 100 feet or more. Cedars are found in abundance in the cold climates of the Himalayas in northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The essential oil is attained by steam distilling the downed wood of the mighty Himalayan Cedar tree itself for highest quality.
Sandy Says... Try a Deodar Cedar! Many people plant redwoods, but they're not ideal for our region. The Deodar Cedar is an excellent tree to plant instead. They're slow growing, but their graceful form makes them worth every minute. When they're mature, they add a lot to the landscape. Check out this specimen in June's garden! PLUS, they're drought tolerant... how great is that?⠀
