My analogy as to what people go after and why... Business owner:
I’m going to pay you this bushel of carrots 🥕 for your time (Labor)
One happily says, YES and THANK YOU!
Why, because this will take care of an IMMEDIATE need. It is much easier to wait a week or two for ones pay/reward. 👉 This bushel of food will feed them for a week or two. Usually, it’s been eaten before they even receive it 😢. Therefore, they go back to the job because they need to eat next week. Some people are fortunate enough to receive more than a bushel of carrots.
They actually earn enough to receive a full meal, however, it’s still not enough to feed them for a year or two without going back to the job for more food. It might last them a month or two, but then they will be racing back for the next meal.
NOW... Pay attention ‼️
Do you see the beautiful gardens of food in the image (SWIPE LEFT) To create this, it will take some time and hard work, right? We will have to tend to our garden daily without any immediate reward or food. It takes time to grow our seeds which WILL allow us to harvest meals for a lifetime and for generations behind us. Now, How would you feel once your garden in completely full of food and you’re able to watch and enjoy all the smiles from the faces you’re able to feed? I know, I will be so grateful, EXCITED and proud of myself for following through with my decision to create change.
You see, that’s my goal. That’s where my heart ❤️ is. You might be thinking, why can’t she just be satisfied with her weekly bushel or meal of food?
ANSWER: Because I grew up worrying about the next meal. As a business owner my husband went days without meals. (Literally) Do you think he believed that would ever happen? Nope! It took him down emotionally, spiritually, mentally, socially and physically for many years.
It was absolutely heart wrenching... It’s a miserable place to be. I want to feed more people! I want to help them with a plan “B” (Their beautiful garden) this way, they’re able to eat for the rest of their lives without worrying if they will have enough food to feed themselves, their fa

I need to get out of this stall! I need to do something different. It’s been a month that I haven’t lost any pounds. I can’t complain though because I enjoy all this good food we eat.
I don’t know why I get so scared to fast when I’ve practiced it so much. I have done a 7 day complete fast for spiritual reasons. I only drank water for 7 days. I’ve done that fast 3 times and yet I couldn’t get myself to do a 24 hour fast. That’s nonsense.
So, that changes today. I do have the self discipline to do a fast. I want to see a difference in weight so I will do things differently. I will drink more water and fast more often. I have five pounds to lose to get back to my goal weight.
🔹If you have hit a plateau, I encourage you to do intermittent fasting. You can start with a 16:8 fast where you have your dinner at around 7pm and you don’t eat until 11am of the following day. It’s basically a dinner at regular time and have a late breakfast or early lunch the next day.
Since I have some practice, I will do a 36 hour fast. I had my dinner at 10pm last night, so now I will have my breakfast tomorrow at 10am.
Keep in mind that I am still drinking my bpc and I might even have some broth later today.
