My absolute favorite right now is a Tofu salad!! I know I had avocados 🥑 for breakfast but I can’t help myself I love 😍 them!! WHAT?!??? 👂 Yeah well, yesterday I celebrated my 9 MONTH Cleanniversary!!! And I have lost over 110 lbs! •••••

Salad 1 : Lettuce/spinach/carrot base, diced sweet potato toast,cherry tomatoes, avocado, & 2 poached eggs. Everything covered in homemade ranch and Cholua.(This was breakfast yesterday for #R3D4, and yes I took my food outside in the snow for a picture)

Salad 2: Same lettuce base, compliant bacon, cherry tomatoes(cooked in bacon pan),avocado, & poached eggs. Always covered in ranch & Cholua ( #R3D5 )

The goal is simply to do something a little better today than you did yesterday! Make a better choice; have a better attitude; read a little more; have an ounce more confidence; treat your significant other with a little more kindness; pay a little bit more attention when your child is speaking to you; take a step towards a new goal; make the decision; whatever that might look like for you, what matters is that you keep growing and that you do not give up no matter what!!!! Bad things.  They happen in life, don't they?  I'm sure we have all had our share of them.  Some of mine include my dad's death when I was 2, being diagnosed with non-military PTSD when our son was an infant, our daughter was 2 and had undiagnosed sensory processing disorder and food allergies {throw in a hubby traveling for work at the time and it was one hot mess, friends!  Yikes, I shudder when I look back on those days, yet am also thankful for them.}, moving back to Indiana 3 years ago and being here for my step dad's passing a year ago.  Death, trauma, special needs, food allergies combined with life, moving.....life hasn't been a bowl of cherries 😉  But, I can say it is a good life, and has been a good life. #Godisgoodallthetime

As the picture says, "sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the most wonderful things that will ever happen to us." That pretty much sums up why I am a health coach.  Those experiences allow me to share our story to help others who are where we were.  See, when we changed how we eat, everything changed for us.  I see so many people with anxiety, depression, kids running around wildly, people who are often sick and it makes me wonder what they are eating?  We aren't taught about the connection between what we eat and how we think/feel/act/our immune system.  What we eat controls so much of that! 
So many people say that I inspire them, and so forth, but honestly, if there is no action, I am wasting time.  I can sit here and inspire until I am blue in the face, but if change doesn't happen, it's for nothing.  So if anything, please, let our story inspire you to ACT to change what you eat and what you feed your kids. Was feeling hungry for an omelet today, though in truth this might qualify a little better as a stir-fry.  I dunno, I just know it’s delicious and hitting the post-workout spot :: riced cauliflower, carrots, green onions, spiraled zucchini with 2 eggs and jalapeños. Alongside a serving of raspberries, a serving of Mary’s Gone Crackers and Kombucha I’m feeling really to tackle the second half of this day and celebrate the weekend!!!!! .
