If you ever find yourself on the Upper West Side, head to Tom & Yum for lunch. This place serves yummy Thai food and boasts a killer lunch special -$7.95 for an appetizer and entree that will leave you feeling full. We had the Pad Thai with tofu, pictured here. Shoutout to our friend @claramcmichael for taking the photo.📸✨

In the golden age of #ramen in the US, where elevated bowls are approaching $20, I hope these classic noodle houses stick around. Tonkotsu lightened with chicken made Sapporo style; simple and delicious.
Don't get me wrong, I'll enjoy a pricey bowl but I'll always crave a classic preparation too.
Not the best photo in the world, but these really hit the spot for lunch today. An added benefit of working from home is that I can whip up a quick meal on my own kitchen. I've been craving buffalo chicken like crazy, so I whipped up some buffalo sauce and tossed in some cooked cubed chicken. Spoon a little into a Romaine heart "shell" and a torn up slice of provolone cheese, and it's a low carb lunch y'all!
And, I totally made enough so I can take leftovers for lunch to the office tomorrow. That is, if I can keep from eating the rest before then... #winning#cheapeats #
2 INGREDIENT VEGAN CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES 🍫 .
Pour 50ml of coconut milk into a saucepan and simmer.
Melt 200g of dark chocolate in the microwave for 45 seconds.
Pour the coconut milk over the half melted chocolate and give it a good mix until it is all combined.
(The heat from the coconut milk fully melts the chocolate 🍫 ).
Finally let it chill in the fridge for 1.5 hours.
Once it has set enough scoop out the chocolate into balls (I used an ice cream scoop).
Then roll them in your hands quickly to smooth them out.
OPTIONAL: Roll the balls in cocoa powder/ chopped nuts/ hot chocolate powder, icing sugar.

We love trying new things. #guriguri wasn't unanimously appreciated, but most of us liked it a lot. It has a really interesting history, which I googled while eating it. It was originally called goodie goodie and from what I can tell, it's mostly soda and condensed milk. I think it's the cheapest eats on Maui!

We just had some cRaZy weather, going from rain, to tons of little hail falling like rain, then freezing rain, and back to more hail again. Fun for the kiddos! They had to spend some time scooping up the hail and eating it. Sort of like sugar-free, fat-free, dairy-free, unflavored Dippin Dots. Locally foraged. 😂 •
Kimchi, Porcini & Basil from @homesliceldn
This was the pizza I was looking forward to tasting the most at Homeslice's unlimited pizza party. It gets my vote for the best vegan pizza in London...definitely worth a try for those nice chunks of kimchi on top. (WARNING: May wilt when folded)
This is the famous ham and cheese sub from Henry's Ham in @centralmarketyork. The sub, chips and a small soda will set you back a whopping $3.77. It's a tasty lunch at an incredible price. We're looking for other examples of cheap eats around Downtown York. Can anyone beat $3.77?
i love thai food!!! especially Gai Pad Krapow, ground chicken wok'd with birds eye chili and holy basil, as ubiquitous to thailand as peanut butter and jelly is to us. this one is topped with a lacy fried egg. if you're looking to nail one exotic dish, gai gra pow should be IT. accessible ingredients, easy to make, guaranteed to please. this one is part of chao krung's dineLA menu.
