DAY 3: three days straight with no sugar. Today was a challenge, the beginning of the weekend. I like to treat myself however, I had to really watch what I ordered at dinner tonight. But cheers to the weekend 🤗
Alcoholic beverages can be very, very high in sugar. Coolers (Palm Bay, Smirnoff Ice), mixed drinks (using pop or juice), malt beverages (Twisted Tea) and wine can be full of sugar. Approximately 30g of sugar are in one of these drinks!! That's equivalent to taking a full shot of straight sugar!! No wonder why a hangover from these is so horrible 😝
Avoid added sugars by drinking liquor such as vodka, rye, tequila, rum, beer (some), etc. Mix with sparkling water and flavor naturally with lemon, lime, orange, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc. CHEERS!
Friday night turn up lol. This Innis & Gunn tho...beer aged with rum oak chips...yes please! A smokey taste that true scotch drinkers would appreciate this red craft, while a bit filling, had the perfect punch of fruit and spice👌🏼maybe not the best choice for pizza night lol but would be perfectly paired with a juicy steak!🍻🍽mmmm...
