Here's the deal...today is a day packed with errands as we get ready for the Vantage styled shoot workshop with @soliedesigns and @jmhunterphotography tomorrow!
With pick ups from some of our FAVORITE places (@kendrascott #ksbellevue , @labellesalonbridal, @evielanae, @grandeventrentals, and more) we are gonna be fighting that city traffic 😭😭😭 #prayforus . It'll all be worth it tomorrow when we get to hug all of the workshop attendees and meet new faces (even if our faces will be sweating off because of the heat).
And, one more thing: It really doesn't get prettier than this 👆🏽does it?! Nope! Cierra and her bridesmaids are stunners, that's obvious. @mstimssmakeupartist and @hairbyalise are the talent behind their looks. #letspurcellebrate 📷: @toniechristine
Bride & Groom style goals, am I right? That dress was giving me life last weekend, I'm obsessed with how gorgeous it was. Fun fact: it was custom made in Turkey! #weddingwednesday#thatdressthough 📸: @laurenloveslight
It's official...they are Mr. + Mrs. Purcell, and we couldn't be more thrilled! We are leaving Chelan, heading to Suncadia for a meeting for an August wedding, and then home again, home again, jiggity jig. Oh, and tomorrow is the premier of Rachel's season if The Bachelorette and WE. CANT. WAIT. 📷: @toniechristine
This gloomy and rainy Tuesday calls for a moody picture with all the right lighting. 🌧 As seen on @weddingchicks .
Gearing up for our summer weddings the remainder of May and continue to prep for little miss' arrival early June! 📷 @themodernhomeschooler
Being a business owner is not always for the faint of heart. Entrepreneurs wear many, many hats. Including lots of risk taking. It can definitely be intimidating, but you never know if it was worth it until you take the leap! This applies to all areas in life, not just business owners. So tell me, what have you taken a risk on lately and what was the outcome?! #therisesummit
I can't believe I can actually say this... MY WEBSITE IS LIVE!!! With gusto I am checking this off my business building todo list. There are so many ups and downs to starting a business, so I am extremely thankful for everyone who has helped me to pursue this endeavor. CHEERS!
This is my #mondaymotivation how gorgeous is this?! Look at all of the full green foliage!! The simple, neutral place settings pair perfectly to add a touch of elegance. •
We get inspired by others' creativity from stunning place settings like this to home decor ideas.. What does your motivation look like today? 📷 @jennamarieweddings
Today I had the pleasure of sipping wine at Siren Song Winery with Lynn + Jeff, a fabulous couple who own @lakechelanflowers + @chelanweddingrentals. I have really enjoyed connecting with people in the Chelan wedding industry and cannot wait to work together!! #nationaldrinkwineday#lakechelanwedding#sirensong
This weather has me missing the beautiful modern-boho wedding we did last summer at @karmavineyards in #Chelan 💕 I had such fun assisting our modern bride, Marcy, with her decor and accent pieces for her special day! It was complete with crushed linens, hexagon marble tiled place cards, gold geometric vases and simple desert floral arrangements. 📷 @juliannajphotography
Be sure to celebrate the small things, too! Liiike, two years in business!! STORY TIME: About a year ago, I was sitting at a pizza shop with the team from a company I freelanced for (small business owner, extra cash, you know the deal). It was the same spot we would always go when we were bringing someone new onto the team. The CEO would ask some question to break the ice and we'd all go around the table and share our answers. On this particular day, he asked "If you could take the next [however long] off and money was no object, what would you do?" When it was my turn, without thinking much about it, I said that I would still be planning weddings and traveling the world. Fast forward--On our walk back to the office, our IT guy comes up beside me and asks, "Did you realize that you were the only one of us that said, given the option, you would be doing the same thing you are doing now?" I hadn't. It's weird, the small moments that stay with you. The ones that somehow remind you that you are on the right track. I think about that moment all the time and it makes me smile. Two years ago, I made the best decision. Not to settle, to do what I love (in business and otherwise). You've heard me say it before and I'll say it again, life is too short. Cheers!
Hi guys! sitting here on the porch swing, non alcoholic shrub cocktail in my hand, and figured it's time for #fridayintroductions !
this photo has a few of my favorite things in it so let's start there: ♡lists
. ♡gold glassware
. ♡red lipstick .
. ♡front porches and the people I share them with
. ♡old stuff. and old people! specifically I love reclaim/salvage like this functional work of art I am sitting on. My dad actually got it from the local ski resort when they were switching out chair lifts and knew I would love it, so my husband added some chains and made it our porch swing. I love that it represents one of my favorite activities (skiing), and a mountain that is so near and dear to our little town, since it brings in a ton of tourism. And give me a feisty elder who is past the point of caring about fashion, political correctness, or speed limits, & I'll ask them tons of personal questions about what it was like in history times. In all seriousness, I want to learn as much as possible from the generations before mine, before the opportunity is gone. Now your turn! What are a few of your favorite things?
This lovely shoot styled at the beginning of the month is going to be featured on the one and only @weddingchicks blog! It was so much fun working with a team of incredible vendors in the greater Chelan Valley to make all of this lovely magic! Stay tuned for our feature when it hits! 💙
I am so excited to announce that this is finally happening! To put something out there that is completely mine has always been my dream. I finally found my niche in #Chelan !! Cheers, to @melaniefulton + @staciahaisch for creating this adorable logo for me. Coming soon... www.elliehaischevents.com
Hanging out at Bellevue Pottery Barn today and trying to resist buying all of the barware and throw pillows...Oh and also telling bridal registry clients what we do and who we are! Come say hi! We're in great company here too, there's @pacific_engagements @blueboxbakery_ @delicatelysweetconfections @fena_flowers flower @thesweetsideseattle @phenixpaperco all at the store today. Thanks Louisa for inviting us! @potterybarn_bellevue
In the market for a gorgeous, wild stump table for your manly man (Valentine's Day? ♡), your prop studio, rental company, or your home?
This one is for sale!
The log itself is about 30 inches wide, natural bark on the sides and sanded smooth to sit evenly and reveal the pretty rings on top. The glass is included and makes it a perfect coffee table or larger end table. .
My dad, a very talented pro woodworker made this for my @union_showcase area but it isn't practical for our 2 year old at home, and my husband has given me an ultimatum for taking up too much space near "his boat" in "his garage"
Take me back to the mountains and snow! ❄️❄️❄️ •
You know those times you need a vacation from your vacation?! My littles and I have been down with some sort of stomach bug this week, and have to hit the ground running next week. Thankfully, we are on the mend this weekend, so it could be worse! 😉
Truth is guys, the strongest stuff I've been drinking the last few months is coffee. ♡
Our second child, the newest little camper, will join the team in June.
I have decided to do things a little bit differently this go-around. Anyone ever have a good secret and want to hold onto it and savor it and protect it? I'm kind of weird I guess, but this is how I've felt. This time we aren't finding out their gender in advance & I haven't done any big social media announcements, but I realized I should share this news on here now so that my friends at the Seattle Wedding Show don't wonder what happened to me and my poor "working too hard" pencil skirt this weekend! And, truth, so that I can start sharing with you guys my insane sweet tooth. To all baker's I follow, I apologize in advance for the ig stalking you will probably see from me.
Also, let's just use this post as a #fridayintroductions of sorts. See that intense dark grow out at my hairline & the yogurt all over my once elegant velour dining room chaise? #momlife . I adore good design and I crave beauty in the everyday, that's why I make & garnish beautiful cocktails for your beautiful parties, but I lead a busy, often messy, mom to a 2 year old life at home. And I love it. And because I adore a good "instagram vs real life" disclosure, you should know that Henry was bribed with candy to get this shot, taken by my bestie standing on my windowseat. That's me: hardworking, honest, aesthetically-minded, sometimes a hot mess. It should also tell you almost everything you need to know about me that I am equally excited about both the busy Seattle Wedding Expo weekend ahead, and the Very Not Busy family movie night viewing of Cars 2 on the schedule for tonight.
Can you show me with likes & drop me a line on how you feel about this bar? We're ready to build our indoor bars for clients who either can't use the camper bar or would like to add a second bar location, and this is the rustic/ industrial vibe I gravitate towards. But I would love to hear from you guys what you think!!! .
*We already have the shelving just like this for the back bar.
* I have a herringbone Obsession and have thought about doing a herringbone pattern instead of the vertical boards.

Doesn't the new year feel like your walking in fresh snow?! ❄️❄️❄️You get to decide what direction to go in, what to make, how much fun to have. A blank canvas to be creative! What have you done the first week of your year??? Hopefully you made some goals and already stated to conquer them!
We were away in Chelan with family for the last week of 2016 and a few days into 2017 to create an amazing winter photo shoot collaboration with the perfect team of vendors!
Now that we've been back, I still feel like I'm walking in fresh, untouched, snow. Already getting inquiries for 2018, I am loving the way this year AND next year are shaping up! 🎉
When it's January 2nd and this is what was accomplished! The rest of the year has a lot of living up to do! 😍 •
Loving this sneak peek by Ben & Molly Photography! Such fun collaborating with vendors far and near to make this such a successful shoot!

Happy New Year!! 🎉 It's day 1 of a new year! A fresh start! A whole 365 days of things to accomplish, do, and prepare for! I definitely have goals for this year to check off our list, as a business owner and mother; from business growth, client experience, and family time. •
We start tomorrow with our first photo shoot of the year! In the snow!!! ❄️❄️❄️ Will share behind the scenes in our stories! •
What are some things you want to accomplish this year?! For your business? For your health? Family? I'd love to hear how you want to better yourself! 💕😘 @scstockshop
I can't believe we are down to the last few days of 2016! What a year it has been! Working with so many lovely vendors and meeting new friends! It's always bittersweet closing a chapter to amazing clients, but so looking forward to the new adventures to come in 2017! 🎉🍾💍#2016bestnine
This is my rest & recharge place, my cabin growing up. This lake where I learned how to kneeboard, tube, waterski, wakeboard and fish, this dock is where hours of sunbathing took place, this willow where I married the love of my life. Now, I take my little two girls here and unplug from the world. Getting to enjoy this view in any season with family is such a precious time. •
Where do you rest & recharge? I've found it's necessary to take down time. Which is why I can't wait to come and enjoy the snow a week after Christmas and ring in the New Year! 🍾🎉
God was definitely with us on that drive up Vantage Hill! This weekend was our first trip, hopefully of many, east of the mountains and it went off without a hitch despite my nerves. (Pun intended) Eastern Washington is my happy side of the mountains and we'd love to do more events over here, so give us a call!
