It's Chiaroscuro Week in Photo Foundations! It's Italian for light and dark and in Photography it's about using a single directional light source. I stayed behind brainstorming ideas with students after class and did a quick demo using just what we had available in the classroom. Got to love those school doors with a giant window on the top half! #proflife#famu#chiaroscuro
Here we are! Adam and Eve! Impossible to show the whole image. The painting is no longer with me since 2002, and I have a few photos ... but that's it. I loved so much thinking, creating and painting it!
As I have already explain, this painting was part of my solo exhibition at the Castello Cinquecentesco at Aquila-Italia, dedicated to my interpretation of mythology.
Oil on canvas, 120x200cm (Sold)
Kingsville Annual Migration Festival is happening this weekend and I just want to thank these artists for bringing in some of their work to display for the event. These beautiful pieces will be displayed at Chiaroscuro for two weeks so come on in and view them up close and in person. They are available for purchase as well. Check out Kingsville's Annual Migration Festival for more activites surrounding the migration festival. *There's still room for more of your bird, nature and wildlife photography and fine art if you'd like to bring it in!
