😇 Almond Yogurt and homemade "granola"
I read a great article about all the foods that you should eat to power your brain - so I combined them all into a great topping for yogurt.
#powerbreakfast - Although, to be honest, today I would rather have pancakes
Breakfast this morning was a piece of toasted Ezekiel bread topped with @justins almond butter, chia seeds, and fresh blueberries. And just like every other morning, coffee with @vitalproteins marine collagen.
Breakfast is ready (when it's been waiting in the fridge overnight)! Sometimes it's hard to get the ratio right in making the a chia pudding. I usually use 3 -4 tablespoons of chia for every cup of nut milk. Add in a couple of tablespoons of natural sweetener if desired (like maple syrup or honey, or a pinch of stevia), and any other mix-ins. These here are dark chocolate raspberry on the left, and blackberry lime on the right. Sometimes I'll also add a splash of vanilla extract ☺️. Then stir it a couple of times to make sure there are no clumps. Have you tried chia seed pudding yet? Thoughts? The beautiful thing is that, if it is too thick, you can just thin it out with a splash more nut milk. Great for conquering a sweet tooth! .
Took me a whole day to decide if this pic was really ugly or cool.. honestly still not sure? 🤷🏻♂️ oat, almond, raspberry, maple pancakes with banana, coconut, mint chia pudding, blueberries and molasses 😶
