Balance! Yes, that's an essential oil 😉 and it is also known as the "grounding oil". Just a drop on the back of their neck or on their big toes should do. And for the extremely emotional/moody moments you can add a little Wild Orange essential oil (or any citrus oil) to lift their mood, too.
We've been in this exact situation multiple times this season. This learning and sharing part of life is hard to understand sometimes, but I think they are great lessons on trying something new or turning things around (i.e. trading with another kid in class or using the book as a gift for their brother). The oils help bring those who get overly emotional to a neutral level so you can try to teach this.
