We are so grateful for our Chi Omega sisterhood and family today and year-round. Happy Thanksgiving from the women of Kappa Lambda! We hope it’s full of good times, pie and with those you love most. 🦃🍂🙌🏼
|| #WhyILoveChiO || “Coming to college knowing very few people, I was anxious to go through recruitment and find a group of girls that will be my forever friends. Chi Omega blew me away. They were loving, caring, radiant, funny, dedicated, and out of this world. I was lucky enough to open my bid day card and see Chi Omega written on it. Because of Chi O, I have created memories and made friendships with the most amazing women in the world. I have gotten a lifetime’s worth of laughs in a matter of two years, and I am so grateful to have two years left on this campus with them by my side. These women are my soulmates and the greatest friends I will ever have. Thank you Chi Omega, for giving me it all!” -Jenna🌻
w/o our sister Jenna, there would be no ⤹ ⤹ ⤹
I think we’ve figured out the milk situation! Thank you to all the ladies who gave their advice — greatly appreciate your support! 😘
So we did 3.5 ounces of breast milk and 1.5 ounces of organic whole milk and she really liked it! And I just put it in a bottle for today because we didn’t really feel like fighting that fight on our road trip. You know what I mean? #pickyourbattles
Girlfriend’s napping now, I’m knocking out some coaching work, and Croz looks like a chauffeur with us girls in the back seat. 😍

I'm about to get real with ya...
6 years are between these two photos. Holy shit! I cannot believe that it has been 6 years since I graduated college!
The photo on the left is from my first year out of college! Prime in my "party days." I would drink 3 to 4 nights a week, stay out late, and all I cared about was having fun. I didn't have high self esteem, I compared myself to every girl I saw, I would break myself down and didn't love me. I wasnt secure in my own skin. Hated myself, the way I looked, where I was at emotionally and personally. Negative self talk wreaked havoc on me at a young age and it stuck around for most of my life. I struggled with insecurities, depression, isolation, thoughts of suicide and self mutilation and fear. Fear of not being good enough, not smart enough, not pretty enough, not worthy enough.
Fast forward to 2017. I have embraced a lifestyle that has taught me how to fuel my mind, body, and spirit by letting go of the negativity. It has been an ongoing battle, but each day is better than the last. Through personal development, reflection, Jesus and lots of cardio therapy, I have found myself. I have really come to know who I am and what I really want and what I deserve. I am nowhere near the end of this journey to become the BEST me possible, but I am on the move. Growth is powerful and painful, but oh so beautiful.❤
Sometimes it’s still really weird for me to share workout inspiration and selfies. It’s actually crazy, really. Cause if you would have asked me when I was in high school — over 225 pounds and out of breath from walking up the Covent steps to my Spanish class — I would have laughed. 🙃
So here’s your morning dose of inspiration... .
This journey has been long. I didn’t just wake up and start loving my workouts. I didn’t find a quick fix. It’s a lifestyle. It takes consistency. Every. Single. Day. It’s a decision. One simple decision that I’m going to push myself a little harder than I did the day before. .
Does it take hard work? Absolutely! But I’m better and stronger for it — personally, physically, and emotionally. .
If you take away just one thing from my posts, I want you to know that YOU CAN DO THIS. Start today. .
Maybe start this Saturday, November 25 with me and my friend Emily! We’re going to share our workout with you LIVE at 9:00 am. A FREE group exercise class in your very own home. Trust me when I say that he more people you have supporting you and working out with you the better. It is SO much fun!
You don’t need equipment, it will take 30 minutes, it’s easily modified if you’re just starting out, and it’s easily intensified if you’re experienced. Plus, we’re going to do a fun giveaway! .
I say this with kindness, from the bottom of my heart...If you’ve been watching, STOP. 🛑 .
If you’ve been thinking that you want to try the workouts I do, then do it! Join us and see what all of this is about and how it can change your life like it has mine. Just drop your email 👇and I’ll get you the info you need to join us! .
And tag some friends who you think would like it too! .
Be love and spread love, today. Happy Wednesday❤️😘
My belly’s smaller, but my heart sure is a lot bigger. 😍
It’s crazy to think that I actually had an 8 lb. 14 oz. baby girl in there. 🙃
It’s amazing what our bodies can do, isn’t it? .
But I feel like I need to say something that’s not said enough...
Take CARE of yourself after you have that baby. Your belly is still going to look like you’re pregnant 🤰and that’s okay. It’s normal. It may take several weeks, even months, before your body feels normal again. But rest assured, you’ll eventually get to that point. Everyone is different, but for me it took nearly 4 months for me to heal and feel normal again. .
I’m saying this because no one really talks about it. So when you’re pregnant, it’s easy to think that you’ll immediately bounce back and feel normal again. Which you may! But not everyone will. .
Be kind to your body. Have patience. Feed it well. Move it in ways that are appropriate for where you’re at in your journey. Don’t push yourself too hard. You’ll have plenty of time for that once you heal. .
I’m so thankful for the group of women in my accountability groups who have been with me every step of the way these last 12 months! ❤️
Support, accountability, friendship, and encouragement have been vital to my success in my postpartum health and fitness journey. They were the ones who said those words 👆 to me and they were the ones to help push me once my body was ready.
If you need postpartum support, reach out to me and let’s get you plugged in! You don’t need to do this journey alone, momma. 😘
Change starts from within. ❤️
It doesn’t need to be anything huge. Just start small. And then do that every day until you master it. Then move forward onto the next thing. .
Change you and you’ll change the world.
Be love and spread love. ❤️😘
And happy last day to all my teacher and counselor friends!!
Well, it's been a minute for this.
Bench Pause PR of 260.
