Injury recovery and prevention is a complex puzzle of stress, daily life, genetics, exercise, and past injuries. This complexity often is too overwhelming for people to know where to start, so they don't start. .
So if that's you, here's a start for everyone out there with elbow tendinitis...

1) Stop doing high reps of typical concentric/eccentric exercises with elbow flexion. (curls, pull-ups, etc.)
.
2) Stop smashing your inflamed elbow. The elbow needs a proper environment to heal. Create that environment first.
.
3) Start training straight arm strength (I have several videos from my training of this concept in my story). Things like hangs, carries, ring holds, Turkish Get ups,  arm bars, are all good starting places depending your familiarity with different equipment.

Straight arm strength puts the demands on shoulder and grip, which will drastically de-stress the elbow. ➡️Once the strength is there, then you have a chance of supporting proper pulling/pushing mechanics that will utilize shoulder for stability, and not the elbow.

Don't forget that healing takes time. It's a process. You can never put out a fire by pouring gasoline on it, so the most important step is removing your stressor, but once that's done, these tips will start you down the road to sustained recovery.

Similar to a check engine light on your car which comes on after a problem has already occurred, pain usually shows up after something has been going awry for a while. •

Cervical pillows are built to support the natural curve of your neck. Many of us, due to our daily habits, have ↕ straightened or even reversed that curve. It's a good idea to start with a plantar fascia release (from phase 1.1), as tight plantar fascia tissue is a big limiter of big toe mobility.
