Last week, I made some much needed changes. I buckled down and got serious again about working out and eating right. This was how I healed my body of my autoimmune disorder and I ALWAYS see results! I'm so motivated to continue these good habits, and I would love it if anyone is interested in joining me!
One thing that has helped me stay on track each day this week is my accountability group! This is a group of 5 women, that are looking to lose 5-10 pounds in 21 days. We are all doing the same thing, and therefore are there to help eachother stay on track, encourage eachother, and bounce ideas off eachother.
This is a lifestyle change that is based on REAL FOOD. I looked everywhere for a natural, clean option that I could use for my entire family. I was so nervous to change at first, and you guys-- IT'S WORKING! I've already lost 3 pounds in my first week!
*30 minute workouts
*Simple meal plans
*Daily calories and portion sizes are already done for you
*Daily 1:1 support and accountability in a closed online forum
PLUS: my lifestyle habits that have helped me put my Hashimotos into remission! LEGIT YOU GUYS! 💥💃
On July 5th, I'll be conducting my private accountability group . Would you be interested in joining me? Let's make some good habits together! I could use your help, and I would love it if I could help you as well!
If you would like a spot, please comment below or message me! Let's take on this journey together!
When you make chewy hemp bars with chocolate drizzle and your taste tester-slash-husband says, "can we sell these?" 😋😋
Makes 12 small bars
For the bars:
1 cup dates
3/4 cup oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
1/4 cup @navitasorganics hemp powder
1/4 tsp salt*
2 tbs cashew butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbs collagen (optional)
For the chocolate drizzle:
2 tbs coconut oil
2 tbs cocao powder (unsweetened)
1 tsp maple syrup
pinch of salt
🔸Pour hot water over the dates and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes to soften.
🔸Add oats to a food processor and pulse until they are broken down but not too fine.
🔸Drain the water from the dates and add them to the food processor with the oats and the remaining bar ingredients. Pulse until dates form a paste and everything is well combined. (you may need to use your hands to get all of the oats mixed in well.)
🔸Spread the mixture in a small pan lined with parchment paper and flatten to about 1/4 inch thick. 🔸Make the chocolate drizzle by mixing the coconut oil, cocao powder, maple syrup and salt--melting just until it is a thick sauce.
🔸Drizzle the sauce over the bars and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes. Cut into small bars and store them in the refrigerator.
*You may need more or less salt depending on saltiness of your nut butter
You know you crushed it when your hair is soaking wet. I actually had to change & record some exercises later for you all because I looked so gross 🙈. I may have to work all night, I may be crunched for time, but I won't let that stop me from making 30 minutes for me! You CAN do this too. 💪🏽
Just look at this beauty 😍. This is Chocolate skillet. Definitely one of my favourite desserts in Pakistan. It is so delicious and chocolaty 🍫. ✅Must try✅. You can get it from @tuscanycourtyard in Islamabad.
Overall I would rate this dessert 5 out of 5❤️❤️.
Why am I posting a breakfast picture in the late afternoon?! 🤷🏼♀️ because I'm on night shift this week and this is when my schedule gets completely flipped upside down! I've been working on spending some quiet time when I wake up- I reflect, pray, and enjoy some of my favorite things BEFORE the craziness of the day begins. It's been changing my LIFE. I'm so not a morning person and that can lead to a rough start for my day. But this is slowly creating me to crave mornings for this reason- my mindset is shifting, my attitude and stress levels are so much better, and I'm overall a much better person 🤣. It all came from this amazing book called The Miracle Morning. I'm curious, is anyone interested in forming a group where we focus on creating a different type of Morning for ourselves before the craziness starts?! I'd love to form a group where we can learn to do this and support one another! Anyone interested?
