6am CrossFit followed by a mountain of chocolate porridge ✔️
Measure out one cup of oats in a saucepan, add either water or milk of choice with 1/2 a mashed 🍌 to sweeten & 1tbsp of raw cacao powder. Heat and stir until desired consistency is reached - then add all da toppings 👅 I chose, @pipandnut almond butter, frozen dark cherries & raspberries, hemp seeds & more almonds 🙉
This recipe was inspired by one of my favourite women and nutritionists @rhitrition - I urge you to buy her new book if you’re keen to learn about REAL + HONEST scientific based nutrition 💛
Chocolate oat porridge for breakfast - my most romantic meal of the day. Cooked it with coconut milk for extra creaminess, dark cocoa tablet for heart healthy anti-oxidants, sweeten it with a touch of coconut sugar, and topped with some walnuts and freshly grated coconut. That’s it! Nothing fancy. Just bringing a bit of cozy to work.
My photography skills have a way to go before my food is #insta worthy but this was so good!! Why it’s never been in my mouth before is a complete mystery to me! I took inspiration from @skinnycakesnbakes (who you should be following, thank me later! Fit food over there!) and it’s 200 ml of @alpro chocolate milk #healthyextraa I think EDIT 250 ml is your allowance ! and 40g of Porridge oats #healthyextrab chucked it in a pan, and just mixed till thick! 2 syns for a brew earlier! With the obligatory speedy strawberries 🍓 I don’t know how long this’ll keep me full for, cause I’m a greedy bitch 💁🏼♀️ but sooooo good! I might sex it up with PB or Nutella tomorrow! I know, I know, living on the edge!! #chocolateporridge#slimmingworlduk#slimmingworldinspiration#slimmingworldfriends#slimmingworld
•PEARS + CHOCOLATE = MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN• A simple but effective formula! Who likes the combination of pear and chocolate? If you haven’t tried it, you must! I made a slight error on my part yesterday and managed to order 25 pears in my online grocery shop 🤦♀️. On the plus side, I had some great suggestions from you guys and I’ll definitely be trying some of them out this week.
But back to this morning...Anyone who is London based will know that it’s pretty ghastly out 🌧💨❄️☔️ and that means porridge to me. So I’ve made some chocolate zoats topped with my leftover pear compote. Lots of extra fibre from the courgette and pear, great for the gut. And yes that’s a piece of @greenandblacks dark chocolate in the middle (who’s tried the sea salt velvet edition 🤤?). It’s Monday. With the week I’ve got lined up I’ve earned chocolate for breakfast already 😆. Wishing you all a good week ❤️
Chocolate Proats 🤤🤤 Staring blue Monday as I mean to go on with things that make me Happy 😊 and this breakfast makes me very! Very! Happy! 😝
With Blueberry nails to match 👌🏼🔵 I make breakfast on the hob every morning, whether it’s porridge or eggs 👌🏼 I can’t let the kids (& myself) leave the house without something warming & filling in our bellies!
I use rice porridge flakes, @phdnutritionuk Protein powder & here, it’s smothered in @pipandnut almond butter, chia seeds, a sprinkling of mixed nuts, blueberries, raisins & chia seeds 🤗
I mean, if this isn’t heaven in a bowl, then I don’t know what is🙌🏼😋🥄 #proats#chocolateforbreakfast#foodporn
Slightly lesser good looking post of chocolate banana porridge 🥣 with blackberries and @sweetfreedomuk choc pot😍🌱🍫 add that takes chocolate porridge to a whole NEW LEVEL!! ————————————————————————————
My 25 mile challenge is going okay - im a little bit behind but i am determined to finish it and earn that medal🥇
Morning lovely people! I had a lovely lie in today thanks to my gorgeous husband getting up with our son 😍🙌. So I’m now treating myself to this rather indulgent and super yummy cacoa and banana porridge with a few added extras detailed below:
40g Quaker Oats, 10g milled flaxseed, 5g cacoa powder, 1tsp Maca powder, 1tsp ground cinnamon, 1/3 chopped frozen banana, approx 150ml rice milk, and 100ml boiled water. Add all minus hot water to a pan and gently heat stirring every so often, then gradually add the hot water to get the correct consistency for you. I added the following toppings to mine, but it’s equally nice without; 1tbsp coconut yoghurt, 1tsp peanut butter, 1 tsp cacoa nibs, a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of cacoa powder. On a side note you may have noticed a reoccurring theme of the flaxseed and cinnamon in most of my porridge recipes! For those who may be interested why, I’ve added an extra comment below! #showusyouroats @quakeroatsuk #healthylifestyle#weekendbreakfast#chocolateporridge#foodporn#healthyeating
