Circa 1998, my dad's fish farming business in jangari went south. Monetary crisis and bad weather knocked his farm down so badly. My dad lost all of the asset and left him in debt. In such chaos, my mom with no hesitation started selling cemilan and bubur ayam in front of our house; all from scratch. Dad worked as tukang for awhile but later stopped and get more focused on the warung. Now 19 years later things are gettin better. My mom still selling cianjur style bubur ayam in the morning and make wedding or bday cake for her customers. This picture was taken by one of her friend last week, in front of her campus for the next 3 months. she joins a baking class short course. I'm really proud of her. These snacking bars are devilishly good. It's hard to put down once you start into one.
1. Caramel crunch. Three layers of salted caramel goodness with a bottom caramel crunch layer.
2. Yuzu Raspberry Crisp. Yuzu infused white chocolate, with a raspberry caramel layer, and finished with crisp pearls.
3. Heavenly Bubbles. Aerated caramelized white chocolate surrounded by a shell of origin Nicaragua dark chocolate.
Another review coming your way! Pretty sure everyone already knows about Max Brenner, if not it's definitely worth checking out. It's a chocolatier/restaurant. Personally, I love the waffle fries and the food in it's own way is a little overwhelming. The food, drinks, and the DESSERTS are more then enough reasons to check this location out! 🤗
