Kaparkan Falls in Abra, Philippines. These waterfalls are a magnificent natural wonder. One of a kind terraced waterfalls naturally formed millions of years ago.
Kaparkan Falls are less known and much difficult to get to. It takes about 4 hours to get to these falls from Abra city. There are no actual paved roads to these falls. It’s a 4 hour bumpy ride on muddy, narrow and unpaved tracks through thick jungle on a monster jeepney. These jeepneys are re-engineered to work on these muddy and slippery tracks with chains on their wheels.
Big thanks to @wanderful_soulsister for the pose!
So few months ago we went to see Pulangbato Falls and bumped into this couple who also enjoyed the place. I know right from that moment shes the perfect subject. So I gotta ask her I have to 😅. Glad she did approve and is so game for some shots. She nailed it, like a Godess.
When your world moves too fast
and you lose yourself in the chaos,
to each color of the sunset.
Reacquaint yourself with the earth
beneath your feet.
Thank the air that surrounds you
with every breath you take.
Find yourself in the appreciation of life.
