Absolutely LOVE being involved in Church activities, such as Hello Team parties! This was taken awhile ago, but I just want to say a huge thank you to the Hello Team, and more importantly @gracechurchreno for changing my life and allowing me to be a part of such an amazing congregation, amazing church, and an amazing mission. It has become my home. :) #woot#gracechurchreno#hello#hi#christ#godswork

Its spelt Alah in Hebrew but is pronounced the same Hebrew Israelites are God's chosen people we know of this falsehood of islam and it's really not hard to discern Islam is not the truth and is far from it #Islam#islamic#jesus#christ#truth#rebuke#repent
This verse has been mistranslated and taught as a way to scare people into believing that if YOU do something wrong, Jesus will reject you! How ridiculous does that sound?! It makes God out to be schizophrenic!! Any idea that God loves you, but if you mess up wants to punish you is not in the slightest biblical or true! Daddy judges no one and does not accuse anyone. When you begin with your view of God as legalistic rather than relational, you end up with a balanced gospel. "You are saved by grace and forgiven, but now you have to do all these things and act in a certain way to keep your blessings/salvation or you'll get rejected" - how does that make any sense?! A balanced gospel nullifies the perfect work of Christ. The lukewarm metaphor is drawn from the water supply of the city of Laodicea, which was lukewarm! In contrast to the hot springs at nearby Hierapolis (6 miles north) and the cold, refreshing waters from Colossae (11 miles east). Laodicea had aqueducts connecting it to these sources. The image of every Laodicean aqueduct suggests not that 'hot' is good and 'cold' is bad, but that both hot and cold water are useful, whereas lukewarm water is horrible! This verse is highlighting the danger of a mixed message, not drawn directly from the source (Father, Son and Spirit and Their desire to include you in Their relationship), but mingled with one's own ideas of effort and performance. You were once confused and lost in the i am-not tree system wondering whether you have done enough to get to God. Jesus came to reveal your origin (you can't be lost unless you belong!) and bought His I am to you! You had no hand in it! God incarnate came into human history and paid the ultimate price to buy you back from your fallen mindset. Now you know, as They have always known; you are united with Father, Son and Spirit in inseparable union 😁😁🙌🙌 #Jesus#Christ#jesuschrist#christian#bible#bibleverse#biblestudy#faith#mirrorbible#relationshipgoals#christianity#justified#God#godisgood#gospel#Trinity#hot#cold#lukewarm#spit#balancedgospel#mixedgospel
💕This weekend is one of my favorites of the year! It’s a chance for my #soul to be uplifted and #spiritually fed! 🙏🏼It’s a time to bring questions to the #Lord and is a safe place to feel #peace and #hope . 💡 Tonight I was reminded that there will always be #light in this world, even when things are really really hard and don’t make sense. That light is the light of #Christ ! ☀️He is in the details of all our lives and knows what every one of us is going through right this very minute. ⭐️His #atonement enables broken hearts to mend, bruises to heal and allows everyone one of us to be freed from our own struggles and captivity. This reminder was exactly what I needed and I’m so thankful I got to do it with some of the most glorious #women I know! 💖
🚍Also, had a little flat tire #adventure afterwards. Thank goodness I had Shaunie and Sydney to hang out with in the freezing cold hotel parking lot while Lance the #AAA dude worked his #magic ! I can honestly say, we never have dull moments on our adventures!!! And yes that’s my mom waving to us from the nice warm hotel room. 😂
Recently, the steady weekly job that @songstaforlife had this year that provided us with far more financial stability than we were used to went away. Upon hearing this news last week, a family member tried to convince me that my husband really should get a full time job with benefits because we'd feel so much more secure. But I told her that we feel so blessed to live the way we do. Yes, we don't always know where exactly the next paycheck is going to come from. But because of that, we live by faith in a way we wouldn't be able to if we had normal full time jobs. The freelance lifestyle is not for everyone, but it is definitely for us. It gives us so much more freedom and is why we are able to travel the world as much as we do. And with my health being shaky, it provides me with a husband who can take off work to take care of me or take me to doctor appointments whenever needed. It has been such a blessing! 💖
This was our @singthroughthebible song for yesterday, and these verses have so much meaning for me at this time!
Brandon told me just yesterday that as soon as his steady job he had this year was taken away, all of a sudden clients started calling him up out of the blue. Every time we worry about finances, God has taught us to give our worries over to Him. And every single time, God has come through in amazing ways! Our security does not come from a steady job with a regular paycheck and great benefits. Our security comes from trusting and depending on Christ, and that is more security than any job could ever offer. I absolutely love that we are continually learning to live by faith day by day, month by month, and year by year. God is good! 😊💗 P.S. If you need some video work done, my husband is available! 😉

Sam (@_the_journey_home_) is the outgoing leadership pastor at @stpaulschatswood, a role he has been in for the past eight years. Even though he and his family are now moving on to the next adventure that God has for them with @cityonahillbris, he remains deeply passionate and excited about what God has in store for the city of Chatswood.
The vision of @stpaulschatswood is to "know Jesus, treasure Jesus and represent Jesus for God’s Glory and the joy of all people". We can't wait to see how God is going to continue using this great church to bring the light of the Gospel to the people of Chatswood!
🗞GOOD READS: 1 Corinthians 1:9 “#God is faithful, by whom you were called into the #fellowship of his #Son , Jesus #Christ our #Lord .” ESV
____________________________________________________________ If there is one thing that I’ve noticed over time it is that God, is #faithful . He has never #cheated our progress, rushed our trials, and He has not #passed those who have not yet been tested. God cuts no corners when #teaching us a lesson, He is thorough and #perfect . He knows how and what will be in our best interest for His perfect #purpose for our #lives . Therefore allow his faithfulness to find its place in your process. #Focus on the one who is faithful, the one who has never #failed . Just imagine, starting a project that you just know you will finish.... in the same manor our Lord l Jesus Christ will complete the #good work that He has started in you, in #Jesus name, #Amen _____________________________________________________________

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” -Revelation 21:4-
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—
-1 Corinthians 2:9-
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you— so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:3-9 ESV
“I have a lot going on in my life with studies and work taking most of my time. it’s been really difficult to balance things up, especially my walk with God. How do I balance my walk with God and every other thing in spite of my busy life?” Oh my, this is an excellent question! The struggle is real and you are not alone in this.
I appreciate the way you phrased your question, God first and all else after, but it also shows the flaw in most of our thinking on time and God and I hope to unpack this well. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV
The first thing I’d like us to note is “the race that is set before us”. This race spoken of here is the Christian life and like every race, it has an objective to be reached.

1Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
9Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
11For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
12Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds (pastors, bishops, reverend etc) have caused them to go astray
Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! SHOULD NOT THE SHEPHERDS FEED THE FLOCK?
1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12But he that is an hireling (your pastors), and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
