Lovely Leo will be running a 5 week Creative Meditation course starting next Sun, 1st - 29th October, 10.30am-12noon. You can also join him this SATURDAY night at the usual time of 7-8.30pm.
Leo's course is for those embarking on their meditative journey. With only 10 students enrolled, this is an intimate learning environment designed to give space and time to those who wish to explore and understand the yoga of stillness, also known as meditation. The art of being flexible in every aspect of your life, not just your body.
This 5 week course is focused on increasing one’s ability to develop a strong relationship between mind, body and the senses. You will learn to visualise and feel what you wish to evoke but also become orientated towards the acceptation of your environment in order to cancel out the stress response that is often taking place in city life.
Each week new ideas and principles will be introduced so that a wealth of meditations and visualisations can be experienced and learned.
You can expect to embark on a journey of enquiry where meditation is not the goal but the path. Techniques will include your breath, your senses, your mind and your body.

The NEW Moon is our monthly reminder to get clear and aligned with our goals, priorities and dreams. The FULL Moon (10/5) is for celebrating, assessing, emptying out + re-committing.
Want to set your New Moon Intentions ease-fully? 🌝
1. The best time to set your New Moon Intentions is right after the New Moon (in your time zone) - and up to 8 hours. However, up to 3 days after is fine too. Don’t stress about being exact :) It’s the INTENTION + doing it that matters most.
2. Get out in nature sometime during that time frame. Connect even more powerfully to the moon by being IN nature, water, a tree, plants or simply outside. This slows you down, relaxes you and connects you = more easeful manifestation.
3. Spend even just 10 min on your New Moon Intentions (3-4 things). It doesn’t have to be long or involved, just a focus of 10 min on your dreams, goals and desires is enough - focusing on what is most important to you.
Keep it simple + something you look forward to - b/c then you will DO it. I’m a huge believer in combining east and west, the magical and the practical - but it has to be SIMPLE, so that we do it 🙃

What springs into your mind when I say mindfulness?
Mindfulness can seem like a strange concept at first & conjure up images of humming & chanting.
To me, mindfulness is clearing my mind of all the noise around me. It helps me focus & gain clarity in the madness that is my life.
Mindfulness has to be experienced though rather than described.
The best way in is just to start. Simply start by being aware of your next three breaths 💗
I have been giving to projects around the world through @buy1give1 for around 7 years now - however recently I changed something in the way that I give and it has made such a difference. Every month I would work out (from Xero) how many programs I'd sold, how many books etc and then put the numbers into Giving Stories through the B1G1 Website - this was very effective but not very inspiring...... Now every day I look at who I have had interactions with, what groups I have attended and who I have sold something to and I update my givings through the B1G1 App. WOW what a difference it makes to do this daily and so personally. 💗💗 #balance#balancecentral
I am having drinks with a fellow QA today, trying to find out what is planned in her company. To be on top of things - and have real options in case those are needed - one must nurture one's connections. The Camel agrees. Pomegranate tells me that it was a good idea showing interest in the company and Monsoon confirms my gut feeling - it's not the right time to embark on a journey of a new job yet but browsing around is completely fine.
You are Love.
You are Energy.

I was reminded of this today working with a beautiful woman who creates so much change in the world.
She is a gifted psychologist working with trauma - the toughest cases find their way to her.
And she is magic at what she does.
When you're in a position of giving and supporting others (in any capacity), you have to manage your own energy.
It's not negotiable.
You have to create spaciousness.
Time to replenish and recharge so you don't end up depleted and burnt out.
Otherwise you start enduring and surviving not living and thriving.
This beautiful soul was tired and over worked.
So I worked to balance her energy out and to clear the beliefs and habits that keep her stuck in over-servicing others at her own expense.
So she can show up and give from her highest place.
So she can see herself as I see her -
As powerful and connected Energy.
As a Shining Light and beacon of hope and healing for others.
