Like, fo' real. But let's be honest, we all get overwhelmed and stress is something that will always creep up on us. But anxiety and stress are feelings we create based on how we respond to things. So what if you could respond differently and change the dynamic of your whole day?! Here are 4 tips I follow to keep you balanced and more stress-free 💃🙌 1. First thing in the morning, do something that makes you feel good (aka not looking at your phone). Dave and I have been listening to a positive podcast, but maybe for you it's going for a run, praying, writing what you're grateful for... anything! Just let it be something that makes YOU better.
2. Have a plan for the day. Choose 3 actions you will complete that day. For example, yesterday I said I'd pack the kitchen, do yoga, and work my business for 1 hour. See how FAR from overwhelming that is?! If you do more, awesome! If not, let it gooooo.
3. Take breaks in between actions or tasks. Go for a walk, close your eyes, talk to a friend, meditate but avoid looking at your phone! Let your brain and mind just BE.
4. Reflect and celebrate what you DID accomplish rather than focus on what you didn't accomplish. It's always more fun talking about this with a significant other or friend so you can cheer each other on 😄
This is something I used to be extremely bad at. I'd let each day run me because I was constantly responding to others' needs rather than thinking of my own. That way of living just left me anxious, exhausted, and angry. You can't serve others if your glass is empty 💖
