Our lives are propelled by things we have to do. There are often so many things we HAVE to do, that we don't make time for things that we enjoy. Then life starts to suck, and we give ourselves more things to do in order to hopefully feel better, like trying to make more money or fit a particular aesthetic expectation, but these things don't really make us happy and just add to the list of things we have to do! Write down 3 things you can do today that make your heart sing, and do them! I will call one of my besties who lives overseas, take my dogs for a bush walk and meditate. Benching with a buffalo bar for 3 x 3 at 310# (this was a warm up set I wish I was destroying 310 this easily for triples)
The buffalo bar has a slight camber and is designed to take stress off the shoulders and elbows when squatting. This bar is also FANTASTIC for benching as it creates a slight deficit. Benching from a deficit helps build strength at the start of the lift (off the chest). If you fail your bench 6in from your chest consider putting in some buffalo benching and/or pause bench

I've been told for the next four weeks I'm not allowed to have ANY sugar due to a bad bacterial overgrowth in my gut. Just got done a productive day at work (even for a Monday!) and now I am headed home to see my hubby who I have not seen in three nights due to night work and my three kitties (one of which got hurt this morning during a little fight). Any other furbaby mammas out there whose heart breaks when one of their animals gets hurt? 🐱We gave the instigator of the fight (Gulliver) a time out to cool down and gave Banshee (the victim) and Max (because he is always a good boy) a bunch of treats this morning. I am so grateful that I get to go home to my cute little family on this absolutely beautiful day. I am also super excited to eat more of my chili because I’ve been thinking about having a big bowl ALL day and my workout this morning was killer!
This is my current FAST food obsession. Our kitchen is packed so unless I can microwave something or cut it up with our plastic silverware it's just not happening these days. Black bean veggie burger, avocado, Carolina BBQ sauce from Trader Joe's (the best sauce ever!!!!!!!) & corn tortillas. Bomb!!!!!

For most of my life I have dieted, I have worked out, I have struggled to lose weight. You know when you're in the ocean trying to run back and the waters up to your thighs and you're trying to run as fast as you can and you just can't seem to move like you want to? THAT has been my life! THAT has been the push back I've always felt! Even though I know the scales a dirty liar, and losing inches is JUST as important than losing weight! But when you're working hard, it's NICE to see the scale move!
As of TODAY, I am OFFICIALLY, down 20 pounds! (Well, 20.5 but who's counting...on ME)! I am down 20 pounds and this is the easiest thing I've ever done! I eat BACON almost everyday! I eat CHEESE! I eat veggies, and pizza (with a different crust), and chicken Alfredo, and eggs and avocados and it's AMAZING! I don't crave sugar, my energy is HIGH! I can actually go from dinner to lunch without needing to eat or feeling like I'm going to pass out or throw up! I feel SO MUCH FREEDOM! And it's only been 6 WEEKS! Going on 7!!!!
This week with Keto/OS instead of hitting a stall which has happened over the last 6 weeks, I lost ANOTHER 2.5 pounds! And my energy, focus, sleep, etc has been better than it ever has! I FINALLY FEEL like I'm taking my life back! That's 20 pounds gone for forever and I don't want to stop! I CANNOT WAIT to get my shipment in so I can dive in and go go go!!!
