Working on out a Saturday!? Say what!?!?
The old Ashley would NEVER had worked out on a Saturday. Even if she missed a workout during the week....it was totally a mental game for me. .
Looking back, no wonder why my weigh wouldn't budge. No wonder why I was unhappy with how I looked. .
On the weekends, I had a tendency to eat more food than I did during the week. Every night on the weekend I would go to bed upset with myself knowing I "overdid" it. Then by Sunday I would binge on whatever I was craving and tell myself "I'll just start on Monday." But guess what, this cycle continued for years. And I saw NO results! I didn't understand, I was doing the workouts....I was eating healthy-ish.....what was the problem? .
Fast forward to the present Ashley. The one who enjoys treats throughout the week so she doesn't binge on the weekend, gets her workout in 6 days a week, and is truly happy with herself + lifestyle. .
I'm here to tell you, you don't have to be stuck in that rut forever. I was there 🙋🏼. That was me 🙋🏼. .
I am proof that 30 min workouts from home DO WORK. Eating healthy 80% of the time will give you the results you have been striving for. You CAN be happy! You CAN be comfortable in the skin you are in. You just have to BELIEVE in yourself! .

Corta as frutas e coloca no freezer por aprox 2 horas. Depois retira e deixa fora do freezer por uns 15 min. Processa ou liquidifica tudo junto e serve! 🔝❤

Cast Iron Chicken Marsala
2 pieces of boneless/skinless chicken thighs
Extra Virgin olive oil
8oz of baby Bella mushrooms (sliced)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
2 tbsps of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of all purpose flour
3/4 cup of Marsala
1/2 cup of chicken broth
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of Asiago cheese
2 tbsps of green onions
In a cast iron, on medium high heat, coat the bottom of the pan with extra virgin olive oil. Add your garlic and mushrooms, season with sea salt and pepper and toss all together. Cook for about 5 mins and then transfer to separate bowl.
Coat your pieces of chicken in the flour. Season with sea salt and pepper.
Keep the stove on and add your 2 tbsps of butter. Add your chicken and cook each side for 4 mins on each side, the chicken should have a real pretty golden look to them. Remove chicken, place on cutting board or plate.
Now add your chicken broth and Marsala, bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 mins. With a wood spoon, scrap the bottom of pan and stir occasionally.
Using tongs, grab a chicken and coat each side into the Marsala sauce and place in the sauce, repeat until all the chicken is in the pan. Top all the chicken with your sautéed mushrooms. Sprinkle cheese and then green onions on top of chicken.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees, place cast iron into oven and cook for 12-14 mins. Remove from oven and let it sit for 2-3 mins. Grab a glass of red wine and get ready for a 5 star meal!!
