This is not an easy thing to get a photo of, but it’s a great snack when you’re on a #cleanse .  Primal Kitchen has a #cleansefriendly mayo with avocado oil and no sugar.  Which means I can have egg salad, tuna salad, & chicken salad.  This makes things much easier when I want a quick snack that’s tasty and I don’t want to cook or heat up anything. 🥑

Homemade tomato soup!  Over the summer I did not have time to deal with all of the tomatoes  coming out of our garden, so I chopped them up and froze ‘em fresh.  I was glad to have them when a friend sent me a link to this recipe that I wanted to try- because it calls for roasted and caramelized  tomatoes- yum! 💫 To serve, I topped it with olive oil, finishing salt, pepper, and pumpkin seeds. 💫

Cauliflower soup topped w crispy kale and fresh olive oil. Using almost all of the veggies in my fridge and this ended up coming together really nicely.  Recipe: 1 onion diced, 1 leek sliced, 2 large white carrots diced, 2 cloves garlic mined, 1 tbsp fresh minced ginger and 1 head of cauliflower. Sautée all of the veggies on medium heat for approx 10 mins.  Then add veggie stock so it covers the veggies and cook over medium/high heat until the cauli is tender. Turn to low and hit it w a stick blender, add salt, pepper and fresh olive oil.  For the kale: massage w avocado oil and bake for approx 20 mins at 375 degrees until kale is crispy. Enjoy! #wholehealthcleanse #wholehealthhappiness

2018 started out rough with a sick little who’s still recovering and a sick me who’s energy is slowly coming back online. 2017 holiday travel was fun but hit us HARD! 😷🤧🤢🤬Ready to move on! Thank you @dancassara and the beautiful wifey for the rad mug! 🙏🏻💓🤗 In other news- Hair is out of the mom bun! @thesanfranciscoblonde returned me to the dark side with a less toxic dye and @nicole_m_amaral helped to lift my frizzy mess with a wave friendly cut and new non toxic Monat products to hydrate and restore some life. Feel like I’m slowly coming back to life.... self care as a working mama is no joke. It’s hard to fit in!
