Welcome to the world baby Wren <3
I have been a labor and delivery nurse for almost 18 years now, and after all these years being present in one of life's most incredible moments for families still just rocks me to my core. There truly is nothing in this world like those first moments. I was so blessed to be present for Wren's delivery, thanks to her incredible parents Nicole and Shawn Barker for trusting and believing in me and allowing me to be present for such an intimate time in their lives.
There will be some new additions coming to Little Loo over the next two years and this past weekend just confirmed for me that I am heading in the right direction and am so excited for this next phase!.

Sessions with boys are always in the 'unknown zone'. You never know what your going to get, but usually it involves moments like these. I love and encourage them to be themselves, explore and have fun! Catching these moments make me a happy photographer 😊
Three is a circus🎪. A fun one, but a circus nonetheless. I think this moment perfectly portrays that. Joyful. Loud. Busy. Overwhelming. It is all those things, but man, three is also such a treat. Just two short years ago, our family was in this same spot. And most days I didn't know if my head was screwed on right. But, now that our youngest is approaching 2.5 and he is climbing out of the baby phase, I can see the light at the end of the parenting-littles tunnel. I know that we will never be "done" parenting but we are almost out of the itty-bitties phase that includes diapers, paci's, nap schedules and loads of unnecessary tantrums. As sad as I am to see my last baby growing up, I am also super pumped about the next phase for our family. And to all the Mom's out there that are still in this phase, hang in there. You got this👊🏻. #sabrinagebhardtphotography
First you let your babies swim in the big, powerful ocean and eventually you let them swim on their own in the world. It's something I can't say I'm prepared for in any way but I couldn't have imagined letting them tackle these big waves on their own a few years ago either. And now watching their joy is a joy. #moodandlight
There is a whole lot of will in my heart right now. A will to create, to get out and about, to start exercising, to start shooting for clients again but every day there's this thing you see. This enormous amount of love pouring from every inch of my body for this small person. This small person and our boys. It nudges and shunts pretty much everything else out of the way, it's both liberating and exhausting. But for now I'm kind of ok with it. After all this is love. And my word, it's nap time // Dubai // Wish You Were Here // Week 37 #newbornvortex
One of my favorite things about photography is storytelling. Storytelling is the theme of a new project that Robert and I have been working on together for the past few weeks - well months I guess since it's been an idea in the works. It's almost finished now, and I can't wait! But for now, this photo is a story I love.
YOU GUYS! it's almost october! how did that even happen?!? I'm certainly not complaining but how? my september to-do list still has "update website" on it, and I've got so many favorite images to add - definitely this one!
"Your art is not about how many people like your work. Your art is about if your heart likes your work. It's about how honest you are with yourself. And we must never trade honesty for relatability." -kaur
