I chunked the trim jig I bought from @oxcreektactical last week, so I had to make myself a new one, plus a couple of spares for the next time I chunk one. It was a great learning experience. Check out @oxcreektactical for tons of great form designs. He sells the forms and the trim jigs in sets at great prices!
The @gwschultz_tool and @maritoolusa combo are at home in the @haas_automation cutting this 6061. At the point of most engagement in this toolpath, the 1/2" cutter is at full radial engagement, .625" depth axially, and cutting at 15,000rpm and 200ipm quite easily.
Angle profile for this beautiful pool house! It’s a beauty, custom look with custom details. Fascia was heat up to bend on the front. @fastenmasterpro Cortex plugs were used for this project

Milling a piece of rail road steel today! How awesome is that??? The idea is that I'll have a small anvil type work face so that I can create a hammered finish on some of our knives using a ball peen hammer.

Also, I used the #tormach superfly with the steel cutting insert which is working great!
I've continued my journey of learning #inkscape and am working to figure out how to vector infill laser etchings. Raster is fine, and for a complete infill that may be the only way to go, but I'll be giving this a try in the name of speed. I hate waiting for 4 hours for an etch that could take 10 minutes with effecient work paths. I'll burn something more interesting next!
