I’m thankful today, for my body’s ability to grow and to continue to prove me wrong. Some days are hard, period, but I refuse to let my lack of coordination get me down. 🙄 our bodies are truly an amazing gift from the man above, and to not test the limits just doesn’t do us justice. Get up and move every single day. Prove yourself wrong. Prove others wrong. We are all capable of great things ❤️

This power bowl is called “I have way too much food in my fridge and I’m leaving tomorrow for 4 days, dummy” 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ For real trying to eat the fridge. I HATE wasting food. BUT HAVE YOU BAKED YOUR CHICKPEAS YET? I’M SCREAMING BECAUSE THEYRE SO GOOD. I’m probably the last person to try this. ( if you’re like me and new to this - drain, rinse & dry your beans, spray with cooking spray, season how you like - I used salt pepper lemon juice & nutritional yeast. Bake at 400 for 30 mins turning them every 10 mins or so) 👩🍳 So good on this salad bowl thingy featuring : arugula, cherry tomatoes, avocado, grilled mushrooms, 2 eggs, baked chickpeas, fresh cilantro & sauerkraut. All on my meal plan. Diets are stupid. Eat real food. Eat a lot. 👊
So today I had a little taste of what my life will be like starting next September. My older two girls were in school, and Lexi spent the morning at her Grandma's house. For the past 8 years, I've always had a little one home with me. But in September, my youngest will go to preschool. And then it will just be me in the mornings, and then eventually when she goes off to Kindergarten, it will just be me ALL DAY🕦. I know some of you reading this might be like "So what? What's so weird about that?" But for me, it is. I used to have anxiety thinking about what my days will be like when all of my children were in school🤤. Not sure what direction my life would take...But now, because of coaching, the anxiety has become EXCITEMENT 🤗 Having the time in the morning to talk to a bunch of women about their lives, and listening to their stories and how they want to get healthy and be better was so amazing👭😭💜. Just thinking about how I'm going to grow my business makes me so happy. I feel so lucky to be able to be both a stay-at-home mom and a coach. This coaching opportunity has freed me from all of my fears about the direction my life will take when my little ones are all in school. What does being free mean to yoYOU? Maybe it's quitting your job and working for yourself.. maybe it's just having an extra income to help with the bills... Maybe it's just having extra money to spend on shopping and things for yourself without feeling guilty... Seriously it’s one of those days. Slept through my alarm, forgot half my lunch, it’s a short week and I can’t seem to focus. Best advice?! Get good help, support and guidance! Lean on experienced friends and a GREAT LC. Feeding is NOT easy. So it’s important to speak up as needed and feel as comfortable/secure as possible during the whole process (beyond grateful for YOU @perezfam04 🙏🏻♥️).
The bottom line with feeding - FED is best. It makes for a happy baby and a happy mommy and family. So whatever way works BEST for you and your babe - that’s the way to go. ♥️

Grady had a thanksgiving party at school today and Bryce and I were able to participate, eat some food, and mingle with the other kiddos. .
Both boys are down for the count! It was a fun morning and a great way to start off our busy weekend 🦃 .

So today's Jessica shares is promoted by a comment about a friend who had been weight shamed at a wedding. So I used this cupcake store pic because at 250lbs I wouldn't be caught dead going in there alone. I would be supa self conscious that people will be looking at me thinking the fat girls about to eat a cupcake!! It was so bad that I wouldn't eat junk food infront of people besides my family. But this reminded me of a time I was shopping w/ my sister and a few sales girls were laughing as I was looking at clothes on the rack. I heard them say "why is she looking it's not like she could fit in them!!"😭😠😡 My lil sister of course was ready to go tell them off!! I wanted to cry, but just brushed it off told my sister F* them and kept looking around. The truth is it bugged me so bad because I was thinking the same thing!! I hated shopping for clothes when I was 250+ but I didn't know I could change it at the time. I thought I was born to be fat! It's who I was... But that is so far from the truth, if your not happy w/ who you are or how you look and feel!! You can do something about it!! This is your life so throw sprinkles on it and be the best you! Last night I definitely wanted to go home, curl up on the couch and order some pizza or some type of comfort food.
BUT with thanksgiving coming up and fresh food to finish in my fridge, i resisted. Got my workout in then cooked up a healthy, accurately portioned, meal.
These containers make portion control SO easy! No confusion, no questions and no guessing. I just measured out my protein, veggie and carb and voilà! Definitely had some chocolate popcorn afterwards but at least i got this meal in first!
Feeling cramptastic this morning and wasn’t feeling motivated to hop on the hamster wheel. James wanted to hop on the laptop to play some games and I told him he could if he worked out with me. He agreed to the deal so I couldn’t procrastinate any longer, so glad he joined me because even though it was tough, he made me smile the whole way through. Moral of the story? Get a workout buddy to help keep you going!
Long story post😆 So this is probably not the best example but I decided to throw this into a video and just show y’all that sometimes what u see on Instagram isn’t true !! Even I find myself obsessing over those crazy fit woman and I’m just like wtf does it take to look like that. Hard freaking work and a shit ton of dedication...that I don’t have. Sorry I love my food too much. BUT this just goes to show that even I get bloated, don’t have a 6 pack showing, and if I want to look good, I gotta suck in, flex, and pose! NOW I’m not saying don’t believe the photos I post- because they’re true. My good days, after a good lift sesh and watching what I eat is obviously when I look best- but that goes for us all! Yes most of u would be like “omg she looks good already, who cares about bloat” but I care!! But sometimes I wake up with a bloated stomach and my arm muscles don’t look the same as they did before... so Do i get discouraged ? Uh nooo. I jump back into the routine and continue to make my body healthier and stronger.
Moral of the story. Don’t look at other people’s results and think you can’t look like them. Every body is different but you sure as hell can get close! Good plain old fashioned exercise routines, eating healthier portions, and having an accountability group behind u cheering you on..will get you to your goals. Listen girl...I know exactly what you're thinking because I used to have the same mindset!! •I'm never going to stick to a workout or meal plan during the holidays, that would just be a waste of money.
•I've got to buy Christmas presents.
•I don't want to be selfish & do something for me. •Its just not the right time.
With that mindset you will never get started because there is never a "perfect" time. .
In December it will be presents
In January you will be broke from the holidays.
In February you will be spending money on Valentine's Day.
March is about taxes
Then April comes & you've started saving for that summer vacation...& then the vicious cycle just starts over again.
