I've been listening to this album heaps since it came out and this one lyric really stood out to me, so I decided to turn it into a cocktail. Turned out damn delicious.
▪1 oz gin 〰 @arikispirit 💧
▪1 lime, sliced
▪Ground black pepper
▪Dash of hot sauce
▪Blood orange soda
Muddle gin, lime slices, pepper and hot sauce in the bottom of your glass. Add in some ice and give it a stir to disperse mixture. Top with blood orange soda and garnish with an extra grind of pepper. #DAMN

Frozen Cheerful Cherry Margarita
1 cup washed and pitted cherries
2 ounces Patron Silver tequila
1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces fresh lime juice
2 cherries for garnish
Grab your blender container and add the pitted cherries
Add tequila, Cointreau, simple syrup and lime juice
Add 2 cups ice (or to taste)
Blend until frosty and smooth
Pour into glass
Garnish with skewered cherries

On nosing whiskey: "Before sniffing, let the whiskey settle for a few seconds so as not to bombard your sinuses with a huge punch of boozy aromas. Considering that whiskey is much higher in alcohol than wine, those first initial sniffs post-swirl can be quite potent. Unlike shoving your schnoz into the glass as you would with wine, hold the glass just below your nose and take a light whiff, three to four times.
