Breakfast today for my little one! Oats with prunes puree, chia seeds, dry fruits powder(cashews, almonds, pistachios and few strands of saffron) coconut shavings. I served blueberries with it as my lo is crazy for berries. 😊
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day therefore I always try to provide my baby nutrition packed and different combinations of food for the breakfast.
Oatmeal is the best breakfast for babies as it keeps them full for longer and provides a boost to their metabolism.
Prunes are the best remedy for the constipation in babies, especially who are transitioning from purees to solid food #babyapproved . I always try to add prunes in my toddler's diet.
Chia seeds have numerous nutritional benefits. They are full of omega three fatty acids and fiber hence great to add with oats, smoothies and purees. They are super versatile.
I prepare dry fruits powder in advance to add in my son's meal. I will be adding the recipe soon for the same.

Gorgeous Acai bowl from @pukcollective in Kangaroo Point 😍The Acai bowl was $11, with an extra charge of $2.50 for fruit and granola respectively. Was pretty pricey in the end but man do you get your money's worth! The bowl was massive and it literally took me an hour to get through it! Loved it though and would come back for this 😊
Pancake x Bibingka 🥞
I am always craving for pancakes so I had to make a healthy version so I could enjoy it on weekdays.On weekends,I still get to have the original version!haha
Arte lang.But no seriously,I try to find the healthy option of a food/dish that I want to eat and I recreate it, so I don't feel so deprived and I don't feel so guilty after having some.
So here's an easy,3-ingredient pancake for me, with mashed #banana - ripe, #eggs (beaten) for a regular-sized pancake it takes about 2 eggs to hold the banana and oats, rolled oats @quakeroatsph (no need to cook separately just treat it as muesli)
I put #coconutshavings on top - the texture of the finished product reminds me of the texture of maruya and bibingka. Put #chiaseeds or #flaxseeds if you have. Add cinnamon for flavor.And then,put any #fruit on the side for additional flavor and crunch.Mango is the best I have tried to pair this with. For the syrup, use #honey .
