Hello! Let's talk Lo Dough... So I thought I'd try this as I've seen it advertised lots. It is gf, low in fat, super low carb etc etc. I went for a starter pack knowing that I'd probably never buy it again as it's stupidly expensive... As in these, essentially two slices of bread, were £5. FIVE POUND! Anyway I wanted to see what the fuss was about so... They arrived as you can see, in a box, two tortilla sized pieces. Reviews told me to expect something that had the texture and taste of real bread - no. I tried a bit as it was and was disappointed, I've tasted much better, much cheaper gf bread. So I decided to make a toastie with it as suggested on the post card that comes in the box... Welllll that didn't go much better! The picture you see here of the toastie, that was on for well over 20 minutes. I buttered the outside but it didn't crisp, it didn't go very brown it just went rubbery. I had to take it out in the end as the cheese was leaking and burning... So overall, very disappointed.

Sunday lunch from @rosasthaicafe in #carnabystreet was brilliant. They have a dedicated #glutenfree menu. I went with the chilli chicken stir fry but the the fried aubergine (in potato flour) is something special!!!
I find sticking to my coeliac diet and not eating any wheat really challenging. I find it most challenging when I just want a quick meal,when I have gluten it makes me extremely tired and have a huge lack of energy. This shows a lot in my face but since using this coffee and orange scrub four times a week and having fresh juices it has made my skin glow and feel a lot healthier even on the days where I do have gluten ☕️ #coeliacuk#wheatallergy#healthyfood#healthyeating
Another great place for gluten free grub, right in the city centre - @cca_glasgow on sauchiehall st. It's all veggie/vegan and delicious! Full allergen list available. Range of small plates like roast cauliflower with salsa verde, dolmades, sweet potato fries and soup. Delicious mains like paella, salads, mezze platter and veggie bourguignon. How I feel when someone gives me a funny look when I ask if they have gluten free or when people say they’d give you gluten anyway cos coeliac’s not a real thing.. okay so my crippling pain, feeling sick, headaches, inability to get out of bed, ability to catch flu from just looking at someone with a runny nose, headaches, head fog and anaemia with multiple other vitamin deficiencies is just made up right?
