The challenge will focus around using #MyFitnessPal . While I will have recommendations for the ratio of carbs, fat, and protein to follow, you are welcome to incorporate the current diet you are on or other popular eating protocols. The goal is to get very savvy with utilizing MFP to your advantage and pinpointing where weaknesses in your diet might be. You can't measure what you don't track! I often find that people are not eating near the amount of protein that they think they are. This makes a huge difference in your satiety level!
Finally there will be the option of incorporating intermittent fasting, and it will be presented in beginner form. Whether you choose to incorporate this or not does not matter. But it is a nice tool to know about!
I'll be sending emails at the end of July with details. I'm even putting together a surprise diet tip food sheet geared towards people who have to eat on the run, but you can only get it if you email me or send me a message on IG with your email address 🙂 Like I said, emails will go out at the end of July!

These Crunchy Buttery Cashew Cookies take the hump out of hump day. Nutty and not too sweet with distinctive caramel overtones. Two or three of these with your favorite cookie beverage will take the edge off your day! Recipe up tomorrow.
Reposting this because lately, many of you asked of what else goes into making the perfect mutton curry. Roast these ingredients on very low heat and then grind them in a coffee grinder. This spice blend can be used for any type of curry. For chicken curry, I'd also add a bouillon cube and reduce the salt for that heightened flavour.

When you're sick with a sore throat and body aches & wish someone would make you this rice porridge cause you have absolutely no energy to get down in the kitchen right now. 😷
My daughter always requests I make this dish when she's not feeling well (photo taken a while back when she had an ear infection, which btw, was treated without antibiotics! 🙂). It's simply brown rice w/ vegetable broth, ginger, peppercorn, turmeric, garlic, pink salt, and vitamin C crystals. A little vegetarian twist on "arroz caldo" - my favorite dish as a kid.
Anyway, mid-term is coming up this week & the stress is not helping my immune system at all. Gotta force myself to get up, cook, & cram all this material before Thursday. Pls pray & send some good vibes! It's been a rough week!
When the outside is as beautiful as the inside is satisfying, you know you've got something special. Fleur de Maquis is a delightful sheep cheese with a mild flavor enhanced by its rind of rosemary, fennel, juniper berries and bluegrey mold. Also known by the name "Brin d'Amour," meaning "Breath of Love," Pity Sex's lethargic and attractive debut record is almost too fitting for its companion

After living in the city for so long, there are times when you just want to get away from the heavy traffic and take a stroll to smaller towns but don't want to drive too far away. Located just around 40min drive north of Toronto, I discovered a nice booming town of King City and the oldest restaurant in town @HogansRestaurant serving modern European cuisine. If you favour for a cozy environment, this hidden gem will definitely meet your needs as the building was used to be an inn during the 1800s. I actually spent 4 hrs here during my lunch as I kept on indulging at the tuna tartar and the seabass (highly recommended). This is what I call Life Away From The City. I will definitely be back here again soon. .
