Browned butter rosemary and sage butternut squash alfredo with herbed chicken and garlic roasted broccolini 🤤🤤🤤 RECIPE: melt 4T butter in a deep skillet, add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 small chopped medium white onion , sauté 3min. Add 2sprigs chopped fresh rosemary and sage. Turn heat up to HIGH, stirring constantly x2min until butter begins to brown. Add 1c chicken stock+ 3 cups diced butternut squash. Cover and cook over medium heat 10min until squash is tender. Add 1C milk, stir then mash the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Return to pot, add 1/4C Parmesan, salt+pepper, stir. Then add roasted sliced chicken, broccoli and pasta and toss until well combined. Add pasta water if needed to thin sauce. 🆕 Yay, finally! I'm so excited when I find the newly opened @jinbao.id which just held the Grand Opening yesterday, having the famous Shanghai’s delights, Sheng Jian Bao. 🥟 Unlike Xiao Long Bao, Sheng Jian Bao (Pan-fried Pork Soup Dumplings) has that brown part at the bottom that gives a crispy sensation when we bite and sip the tasty pork juice from it. The pork filling was juicy and very flavorful, wrapped with a thinner dumpling skin when compared to the legendary brand we tried in Shanghai last month. From the first bite, I knew it; it’s all PORK GOODNESS! We fell in love with their Sheng Jian Bao - and will be back for more. ❤️

Today was definitely an #introverthangover after too much shopping, visiting, and dancing yesterday. Dreary rainy weather, a cozy fire, salt lamp, and diffuser set the stage for a long afternoon nap snuggled up with the cat. This crispy potato and kale hash from #blueapron was a perfect comfort food dinner. Now we're just anxiously waiting for one of the apple pies we made with our friends last weekend to finish baking for dessert.
Life is all about balance and that doesn't just mean coasting along in the middle always in perfect balance. Some days you might have a lot to do and others you might have absolutely nothing better to do than take a nap and eat some good food. It all evens out in the end so enjoy both!
