Brownie anyone? Indulgent, chocolate homemade goodness! Who doesn’t love a good chunky brownie! My brownies are currently stocked in @blondescoffeeshop in Cottingham along with many of my other tasty treats ✌🏻🌱💚 #mummymeagz
Started this Wednesday with a bowl of pink beet orzo salad, chickpea salad with dill, roasted rosemary potatoes, and tomatoes plus some greens and arugula.
P.S. Who doesn’t love eating colorful food? Because I do 😋 i love the pretty pink color from beets. Also, I wasn’t quite happy with the photo I posted earlier (in case you guys saw it) so sharing this one instead! I can be pretty indecisive when it comes to food photos sometimes. I tend to want to share everything or none at all. 😂🌿🌸
Both the Farrier & Vet have been @fieldsoffreedom since 7.30 this morning 🐴Youngfrida has had to be sedated to have her feet cut due to her fear of humans caused by the abuse she suffered. An attempt was made to make an IV sedation but her reaction to the needle entering the skin caused her to rear up and swing her back end at me the Vet and the Farrier so a decision was made to sedate her through the muscle. She's had all four feet cut now and is under close supervision by me as she starts to wake up again. This procedure must be done every three months 🐴#fieldsoffreedom
"What is B-Corp certification?" || One of the most common phrases I hear from skeptics and band-wagon-jumpers alike when it comes to ethical shopping and the way brand's produce is "how do you know?" •
How do you know the brand really knows who makes their products and what their waste/use ratio is and where their fabric is sourced? •
How can you trust a brand when they use the words "ethical" and "transparent" and "supply chain" in their bio but don't have other evidence to back up their claims? I've worked with brands and shopped from brands in the past who claimed to be "USA made" or "sustainable" but, really, how can you trust what you read on a brand's website?
As someone who is fairly trusting, I tend to assume that everything I read is to be taken at face value, but unfortunately, I've also learned that that's not always the case, in fact, it rarely is. So, what's a conscious consumer to do? Head over to the blog to learn what some brands (like @baabukusa) are doing to give themselves credibility that consumers can trust via @bcorporation. #inspiringsimplicity#ad

When you see this on the back of a local bus and you get hit with the feeling that the world is waking up and you almost cry with excitement.
In case you can't see what it says, it's a photo of a lamb and the words: "She has one precious life. Will your dinner take it?"
Make the connection. 💚 Eat Plants not 🐑🐄🐖🐗🦃🐔🦀🦐🦑🐙🐟
The best thing you can do for another person is to show them your support no matter what they're going through. You should never judge. You should never condemn. And you should never reduce someone's experiences because you don't understand them. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt because you never really know what someone else is going through. Offer your hand to everyone who's down and you'll find that support repaid to you during the times when you need it most.
Tag someone to let them know you're here for them and follow @sossafetymag for more encouraging content!
