I really wish I could shoot like this kid when I was his age? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥 And yes, he dragged this pivot foot on one of those, but I'm not concerned with that right now. I will step on his pivot foot later to force him to develop the feel for keeping that pivot in contact with the ground. We will correct that.
However his ability, at 8 years old, to get into his shot with the one two step is pretty outstanding. As he gets stronger it will continue to improve. But that's why it is important to to create the habits early. Tiago will develop efficiency of movement early, even if success isn't immediately around the corner. This is a marathon and not a sprint. The shot is getting closer and closer to getting to the crown of his head. Amazing the difference that one year makes.
Most athletic basketball player of all time? Agree or disagree? Don't be like everyone else and look at athleticism in only two dimensions: running and jumping. Athleticism is multi-dimensional. There's agility, balance, coordination, quickness, anticipation, reaction time, explosiveness, quickness, speed, strength, and power.
First of all look where he took off from! The elbow folks!!! I don't care what anyone who says, Westbrook or some other athlete of today is more athletic than this guy.... I'm not buying it! They don't call him the G.O.A.T because he eats grass!!! #Complete#Players#Player#Development#Shooter#P3#Killer#Gotem#NiteNite#Movement
Be honest, when will you go to the gym and start working on these? Commemt #tonight or #tomorrow
Kayla is working on her basic left hand finishes Cornelia @corneliusellington and @courtneyp_ogden are working on being able to push their defender under the basket extend the arm and finish off the glass.
Basketball it's a rugged game with a ton of no calls Defenders often grab arms and we still have to have the ability to finish a play even if we don't get the call. 2 ball finishing allows for us to develop our D.R. which is the secret to every aspect of high-level performance. We we'll discuss more at a later date.
Could you use this in your game as a shooter? Could this be considered a travel at a certain level? "Body up" step-back or step-side. Is an excellent low energy expenditure action that creates separation to get your shot off. It's also an excellent bait move because it dangles the shot block opportunity like a carrot on a stick. After you've executed a couple of times, add the vicious pump fake after you land and watch your defender nearly tear your right shoulder off trying to get to the shot. LOL
Now go work on it, and master it, with your one-on-one partner! @Skeeeooop #NiteNite T-Shirt Line
Use this action/reaction to slide into the seams/gaps🔥🔥🔥 I want you to get 3 things from this clip:
1. The action/reaction: The dig-cross with the slice across the line. The ball goes under the hands of the reaching SECONDARY defender and it is brought out quickly to avoid being stripped. I bring the ball back to the glass or use the inside hand to sneak it under the arm of the shot blocker (foul drawer)
2. The way that I act with my family (those that have chosen to develop with us) @diana_a_collins is a perfect example. That's why I didn't do any voice overlay. Because I wanted you to hear us communicate. There has been so much time invested in helping her go to another level, that a true relationship has been built. Same with @courtneyp_ogden. This is what happens when parents a. Don't "trainer hop" and b. Allow me to do what I do without interference. And that's why she has become an elite 7th grader, one who scored 30 of her teams 48 points in her last outing.
Elite as in better? You can definitely say that, as it pertains to Diana. But for me she Elite in terms of her mindset, commitment, and dedication at her age. It is not always pretty and sometimes I fuss. She is giving me gray hair and I have made her cry 😂😂😂But she knows that I love her. She understands what I expect and she has no fear of dialogue (none of our players do). She will ask questions and we will get to a solution TOGETHER.

Are these bad shots? 🤦🏽🤦🏽☹☹ should I be yanked out of the game? There's been an almost endless debate about what is a good and bad shot. These are what is known as "Spirit Breakers!" My opinion is always been the same: YOU don't know what I'm confident shooting and what I've practiced. Anyone who has ever played against me or with me knows that I was a master at knocking down difficult shots. And still always shot high percentage is relative to the guard position.
Give me your thoughts!! #Complete#Players#Player#Development#Shooter#P3#Killer#Gotem#NiteNite
