For this week’s #601artgramaday we will be focusing on Gulsah Mursaloglu, whose work “Riegl’s Journey Through Hoops of Varying Sizes” is in our current exhibition, “Other Hours.” Look closely: the green material is a mixture of hand lotions that slowly change form over time.

A week ago I was able to conduct the final shoot for a body of work I started a year ago. The logistics of shooting at several locations, working with two wonderful models generous enough to give their time around busy schedules, my own work commitments, shooting for a second show, plus the intensity and time constraints of being a single parent, well, it was quite the task.
Now I can finally complete editing and select the images I'd like to exhibit.
Feels so good to be able to move into the next stage.
