Preparando disfraz para Halloween? Año 2500? Pues desgraciadamente, NOOOOOOO!!
? 📷PHOTOGRAPHY BY @hamish_paz
📖 🐺 🐕 Woof Notes~Wolf pack verse dog pack - which set of canines works better as a team? The great thing about these #MexicanWolves studies is learning how our domestic dogs maintain and in some cases disdain wolf behavior. The answer is wolves are much more cooperative & closer to their fellow pack members. For wolves- it’s mostly the result of sensitivity to fellow pack members, their status in a pack and out of sheer need to survive but Dogs, when left to fend for themselves in wild or semi-wild conditions, raise their young on their own and look for food as individuals, not as a group.
As the study notes-The observation was mostly on rural dogs. ‚While most people in the United States think of dogs as the popcorn-stealing pal that watches movies in their lap, 80 percent of dogs in the world live wild in the streets of villages or agricultural areas.
Still, dogsled aside, even your best friend has the domesticated habit of going it alone - no teamwork needed to steal that ham sandwich you left by the TV. Check out this remarkable study to better appreciate the heritage of all dogs via wolves. And happy #wolfawarenessweek

Seen these hunting groups on social media really impacted me to go beyond my boundaries into unknown wilderness in my life which makes it an adventure. Seeing these guys gives me an image to follow, and look up too in my life. I had depression, and low points of my life hit me hard in the past 2 years, and having these groups with such immense positivity impacted me to get better. Also being an underweight individual 2 years ago really affected the way I felt in my daily life, and incorporating #mtnops into my daily routine gave me better feeling in who I was. It’s helping me do what I love most, running, and hunting. I plan to keep hunting, and running a everyday thing, and I hope to make a change into conservation, as it’s becoming one of my hearts treasures. Thanks for contributing to your fans, and displaying sportsmanship. Because of that, I want to commit my life to doing so!!! #conservation#conservationist#publicland#hunting#firebull#hushlife#howiconquer#staygritty#keephammering @mtnops @contactoutdoors @keep_it_public @gethushin @grittybowmen
Working for WildTeam we are very lucky to meet some amazing people and travel to some amazing places. Last year, whilst in Nepal running a PMWC workshop with the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) I took a few days off to explore the hills with, Bik, an employee of NTNC and participant of the workshop who become a good friend.
This view is sunrise from Poon Hill in the Annapurna range. If you are planning an adventure I can't recommend Nepal highly enough. It is full of beautiful wildlife (some very elusive) and incredibly friendly people.
I was very lucky to have Bik's company, map reading skills and wisdom. However, finding solitude in this landscape was also very important for me and the times spent walking alone with my own thoughts were treasured.
Kudos to the Malezi Community School in Nairobi, Kenya for joining Grades of Green to expand their inspiring environmental programs. -
Malezi’s Green Team of 20 students in the 5th and 6th grades already host a monthly community litter cleanup, collect rainwater, and have built a school garden wall. Read more about this group of amazing kids on our Site! #gradesofgreen

Coral reefs provide vital ecosystem services such as acting as buffers between us and storms. We rely on these reefs; you’re not separate from this issue; you’re a part of it. -

Yang Fenglan is from Beijing, in 1975 she was appointed to the foreign trade department. She mastered Swahili and worked as a translator for the Chinese funded Tanzania-Zambia Rail Project. In 1998 she started a Chinese restaurant and an investment company in Tanzania. In 2012 she was appointed secretary-general of the Tanzania China-Africa Business Council.
She has been accused and arrested for her leading role in Africa's biggest ivory smuggling ring which operated between 2000 and 2014. Tanzanian authorities believe her to be responsible for trading over 700 elephant tusks. She has maintained her complete innocence . She is yet to be sentenced.
At the epicenter of both these complicated investigations and convictions of these notorious wildlife criminals, we find a South African elephant conservationist and anti-poaching crusader. Wayne Lotter, the founder and past president of PAMS experienced many death threats as he led the charge against the poaching crisis in Tanzania.
With the assistance of PAMS Tanzania's National and Transnational Serious Crime Investigations Unit they were responsible for the arrest of 1398 poachers and ivory traffickers, with a seventy-eight percentage conviction rate. He often faced stiff political opposition. Wayne Lotter was assassinated in August 2017.
On the 9th October three people were arrested for their involvement with his murder. Khalid Mwinyi a banker, his sister Rahma Mwinyi a business woman and Mohamed Maganga a cleaner were not asked to plead. Their case will be heard later this month.

BOYCOTT ALL MARINE PARKS THAT EXPLOIT THESE BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS! 😠@Regranned from @savingthewaves - 🌀
Orcas stun and kill herring by swatting their tails through the school of densely packed fish.
The talented @paulnicklen knew that if he positioned himself next to several stunned herring then there was a chance that an orca would feed next to him. However, No one ever expected a huge male orca to approach this close.
Killer whales hunt in deadly pods, family groups of up to 40 individuals. There appear to be both resident and transient pod populations of killer whales.
These different groups may prey on different animals and use different techniques to catch them.
Resident pods tend to prefer fish, while transient pods target marine mammals.
