#day17 of #100daysofpractice - a look at the ugly side of being a harpist. Working on a very pedal-y section of Fauré’s Châtelaine. This piece is especially chromatic and this is only one of many sections that involve lots of repetition for pedals alone to get comfortable. On top of the pedals, I’m trying to work on getting cleaner replacements and a smoother line as well... definitely needs to be re-visited before my lesson on Tuesday! ☻ Dotted quarter = 63.
Got a little sunshine in today & explored Wright Park with my love. Trees haven't changed colors yet and will be back for some fall photos. We got to finally check out the #dreamy Seymour Botanical Conservatory though! Gorgeous place. I love the light coming through the glass and the succulents. We got some photos around the park and talked about finally investing in a nice camera soon. The phone isn't cutting it anymore and the gopro is best for action shots/video lol.
Anyways, I'm working on my blog now (Taipei layover guide) and finally getting up my Skyscanner banner. I am still so happy to be apart of Skyscanner Elite now! Little wins are everything. Enjoy your Sunday evening!
