To date I absolutely have not a single soul to thank for my transformation but my own personal self and God. I quite often look up and give thanks to God for having giving me the mental capacity and physical strength to have had the consistent unrelenting perserverance I have demonstrated over the years. I have finally reached a point where I am able to perfectly connect the dots and understand every once perceived obstacle, setback, personal trials and tribulations in a different light today and the greater purpose each and every one has forever served. It's been a very rocky road but atleast I can look back and say I did it my own way. Never be afraid to pave your own path, to fight alone, figure shit out on your own and understand that the magnitude of whatever battle it is your are fighting will without a doubt yield the utmost greatest growth. 👌
Don't get faked out thinking you're going to see vast improvements in your first week, or even your first month.
The weight didn't go on overnight, you didn't become unhealthy or unfit overnight, so don't expect it to go the other way any faster.
Play the long game, focus on changing your daily habits and living a healthy active lifestyle...the results will come.
Develop a plan that you will enjoy, and fall in love with the process, that way sticking to it for life will be a breeze!

💥 Pull up goals 💥
Decided to try a few pull ups in the park last night and squeezed out four of the most difficult reps you'll ever see 😂
My back as a whole is something I want to work on when I'm back from holiday and pull ups are definitely at the top of the list of exercises to improve on in order to reach that goal 💪🏻
The ability to change body shape when you want to is brilliant. However, it can sometimes mess with your head even when you know you are still fit and healthy.
The picture in the gym was taken last year before I started training for the #Mallorca312 cycle event - a brutal 200mile race across the mountains.
I've lost nearly two stone since then, and although fit and healthy and can now cycle (!) I can't wait to get that weight back on where I feel most comfortable in myself.
3 weeks into a build programme amd I'm loving lifting again. Let's hope the gainz come quick!! The key to safe and effective body change is a strong mindset, a good plan and consistency!
We all know the best things in life don't come easily & take a bit of hard work. With material things most of you don't walk into the shop & buy them straight away. You work hard & save up the money. You may even have to sacrifice buying something else or sacrifice your free time & work more for the extra money. Relationships are the same. They usually take a bit of hard work in the beginning to get used to each other's ways & they build & get stronger over time. Well the point I'm trying to make is your body is no different. There is no two ways about it, it's going to take hard work, just like everything else in life. There is no quick route. Only consistency, effort, determination & fucking hard work will get you to where you want to be. The minute you make the commitment to do whatever it takes, is when your journey starts. It won't be easy so learn to accept that right now. But I promise you one thing, it will be worth it.
Got a late night lift in on this wonderful Friday night. Getting to the gym is important to me so I make time for it, whether its 6am or 11pm. Consistency is the way to make continuous progress, so do what you need to each and every day to meet your goals. #workhard#consistency#goals#motivation
22Jan 75.4kilo to
Today 27May 71.4 kilo
Hips from 39inch to 35.5inchs (
Bang on 4kilo of a difference and on the grand scheme of things not a huge amount
* i have GAINED strength in this time
* Increased my CV fitness levels
* Came off my medication for menieres (big win)
And generally I feel like I am moving better and just happier.
Not quite at my goal of 70kilo but I know I am going to walk into my comp having ate this week and jet off on holiday without any meltdowns!
And for me all these reasons are why i started in January
Consistency pays off! Slowly chipping away over the weeks has paid off!
Consistency beats huge leaps and herculean effort. Ryan Holiday puts it this way, "...little things add up toward transformation." Tim Ferris notes that one of the most important things you can do in the morning is make your bed. It's the first thing on your to do list that you can tick off.

Awesome graphic by @cartergood. This is also closely related to the problem with having "cheat days" as opposed to controlled refeed days. It is extremely easy to wipe out a weeks worth of progress in just a couple of days. #Consistency#Consistency#Consistency

Goodmorning! I woke up like this🤷🏻♂️Everyday is a new step closer to the goal. Happy with how my body is responding on the changes I've made the last week, and I can see changes day by day. Feeling a bit flat, but some food will take care of that. It was supposed to be a cardio and abs only day for me, but I'm doing an extra legworkout. There's no special reason. Motivation is on top, and it's also the highest carb day I've had in six weeks. So I thought what better way to put them to use than a legworkout. Carb depletion starts tomorrow though!Wishing everybody a great weekend☀️
