Even in my young age, I have a lot of joint and inflammation problems 👴🏻Bad shoulders, bad knees, bad back. It's forced me to to look for solutions from both a physical and supplemental standpoint.
Something that I've been incorporating the last few months is a high EPA/DHA fish oil. Sounds really lame to take a fish oil, but I notice a HUGE difference when I don't take it.
The average American is very likely to have high inflammation, which has been shown to lead to many diseases. Whether you work out or not, fish oil is extremely beneficial.
I was scrolling through some pictures on my phone and stopped to reflect on how far I've come. To appreciate the process and see all the changes my body has been through. I'm still not where I want to be but that's because at times we all get comfortable at some point and of course life happens. I never even thought that I'd be comfortable in my skin again after having two babies. Especially after my 2nd pregnancy I felt bigger and of course the skin on my stomach much more loose with stretch marks to go along with it like there's no tomorrow 🙄🙈 I felt so uncomfortable with myself to the point I wouldn't want to look at myself in the mirror. I am so thankful to have found Herbalife and giving it a chance. Best decision I've ever made, it changed my life. 🙌🏼 I originally lost 25lbs and just fell in love with it, to now gaining lean muscle. 💚💪🏼 My stomach has never looked better since giving birth to my beautiful kids. Going for more because it's amazing what a woman's body goes through and what our bodies are capable of accomplishing if we set our minds to it and stay consistent. 🙌🏼✨To all the mommies out there know that it is possible to have your body back and feel good about yourself again! Finishing off back day with some deadlifts per usual
I decided to work on my form and do some slow negatives with these. I was testing myself to see if I could keep my form intact throughout the whole repetition and I think I did pretty well!
Deadlifts are huge for a big back, there's no doubt about that. Some may make the argument hat no one should ever deadlift because "it's bad for your back" no. Dead lifting is bad for your back if and only if your form is shit! -
Make sure you're doing it right and not over working yourself while pulling weight with terrible form!! Learn how to deadlift before you do it and when you do learn start with low weight!

Back in the day I strongly DISLIKED sumo dead lifts. For many reason but I kept trying to work on my form and mobility. Now I love it and look forward to sumo Saturdays! Never give up on something because it's hard or weird at first👎🏽 get inspired from your weaknesses! 💪🏼 @Jgibs345
💥Don't over analyze it. Maybe you are just "eating like an ass hole." Nutrition is really not that complicated. Stay away from the processed foods no matter how convenient you think they are. It's not very convenient the long term effects they have on your body fat or health. ......
💥Come towards the simple solution and eat foods in their natural form‼️Eating healthy proteins, fats and vegetables is not boring....you just need to get used to eating enough and getting creative with your seasonings. You make your choices and then your choices make you. We make choices all day long consciously and subconsciously. Every choice has a consequence, good or bad. Some choices are life changing and some are minor. This has been on my mind a lot. The book I'm reading talks a lot about how it’s the simple and small choices you make daily that can shape your destiny. We live in generation with the mentality of quick fixes. You see the words get rich, thinner, stronger and smarter in 2 weeks with this simple step...🙄 I mean seriously?! I see this in health&fitness ALL THE TIME! People give up too easily. They don't see immediate results and assume it just doesn't work and then try the next thing.

One of my favourite parts of competition prep is the mental challenge, the cultivation of mental strength. It took EVERYTHING I had not to stop a couple minutes early during cardio today. No one would've known if I did, I could've argued to myself ( and I did hahaha) that those couple of minutes wouldn't make a difference in the end. But the very fact that it was hard, that I wanted with everything I had to stop ; was exactly why I kept going. I'm not a super human, I get tired and unmotivated too. But I know when I get like this how fucking important it is to keep going. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Starve your distractions, feed your focus. Learn to depend upon discipline , fuck motivation. Ever look at someone's account and say "Why can't I be like that?" 🙋♀️ And I'm not talking about looks, because let's face it, we are all different and we are all beautiful 💁♀️😘 I mean it by "oh I wish I had their dedication", "I wish I had their energy". Guess who is stopping you from having dedication or energy or starting a healthy lifestyle? That's right! YOURSELF! It's not your kids, it's not your significant other, it's not your job or your circumstances, it's YOU. YOU are in control of your life.
