There's no losing when you're MTVTD.
It all depends on how YOU CHOOSE to look at your setbacks.
Will you let them define your future or push you towards greater things?
💯 Show them what you're about.
👊🏻Fear is a liar.

Both proper training and nutrition are based on certain principles which we know through science are the most effective and fastest way to our goals📝.
However, perhaps even more important than these principles is consistency. No matter how smart we are with our training, if we are not consistent with what we are doing we won't get anywhere.
Everyone knows the benefits of getting coaching at this stage. Its a lot more effective, safe and usually more fun. Another benefit though that a lot of people don't think about is the accountability aspect.
For some people it might not be that they don't know what to do, but that they just can't bring themselves to do it. Whether that be because of time constraints, lack of motivation or just pure laziness😴.
A good coach will make sure you're making your sessions, ensure that all those sessions are of a good quality and that you're not just "showing up" for the sake of it and probably most importantly keep you on track with you eat and drink.
Having someone there that you have to be accountable to will allow you to be far more consistent with your training and nutrition and is nearly worth the cost of coaching itself👍🏻.
2017 Crossfit Games Open has come to an end. Every open workout challenges you to compete at your best regardless of your level of Fitness. Just like every year I'm super proud of all the members and coaches at the gym who participated. Keep having faith in your abilities 💪....…A few months back I was just hoping to be physically healthy to compete due to all the setbacks throughout the year including bronchitis the 1st open workout 😂. I look forward to seeing my coworker @stephchung2 kill it at Regionals and always remember why you are doing this. ☝️️ By the way, music by @champz516 😊
#keepitreal post! My #training has not exactly been going according to the #plan lately. I was struck down with flu last month which I somehow managed to work through but had little energy for anything else. Teaming that with 3-4 hours of restless, broken sleep and trying to manage my time differently as my #workload increases saw me take a back step so I could make sure I did all of my jobs to the best of my ability. Today I was able to get the morning off work so managed to hit the #gym for a cheeky #legday . I have lost a lot of #strength in a short space of time which is a little uninspiring so I'm really hoping to try and find #balance and #consistency to try and work back up to where I was and beyond. I'm confident that this won't take too long! We shall see 😬
🇬🇧Being distinguished is also having the right attitude and manners. We can't be best friends with our colleagues, associate. But we can be the best team duo for delivering exceptional results. By following these three main rules: listen to each other, respect each other, and the most important thing: be true to each other. We have the same main goal to achieve, the same path to walk on.
Monetary support is the main reason why many entrepreneurs seek investors but it shouldn't be the only one. Find an investor who understands & believes in your vision, understands your industry and one that has valuable contacts & resources that will help the company grow. Don't be pressured to partner with an investor just because they have deep pockets
Long overdue but MASSIVE respect to @jadejan_ who came to me last year wanting to compete in fitness. Yes a whole year long prep!! So many people enquire and say they want to compete thinking it will be an easy 8-12 weeks if lucky with barely any hard work or they compete multiple times and look the same every time because they never actually put in the consistent hard, grinding and sometimes shitty work it takes to drastically change your physique.
Jade however, had the focus and effort that most people have for the last 2 weeks before comp the whole damn year! This speaks a lot about a person and now she tells me that she's happier and more confident than ever! Which is the best reward a coach can ask for 👊🏻💪🏻
Do not take anyone's word for anything ❌💩
So much shit information and advice from so many different sources. Question the legitimacy of anything and everything anyone tells you, even me 🙄😂.
Advice should be given based on evidence and/or experience if your coach, trainer, friend, whoever can't provide either, you need be skeptical.
Big congrats to the whole @voguefitness.crossfityas team on another huge performance this year. A lot of athletes showing consistent training day in and day out for long periods. On to the next step and here's to hoping they can do themselves proud and enjoy the best part of the season. Time to compete!
If you want your dream physique you have to work for it & that goes with anything in life. Hard work always pays off 💯✅🔊 -----------------------------------------------------10 week transformation started my cut at 85kg & now currently sitting at 76kg. No tricks no shortcuts just good old fashioned hard work & a clean diet which I stuck to consistently.
I am completely fascinated with the idea boundaries, and have been for a while now.
Healthy boundaries in your spheres of life. It could be around your social life, work, business, fitness, relationships, money...
I used to see boundaries as bad. I thought i'd lose my sense of freedom and feel restricted.
But I've started to understand the other side of the coin.
While boundaries can be about keeping some stuff out, it's more so about keeping the GOOD STUFF in. Keeping the healthy, nourishing things in your life, with consistency, and making them a PRIORITY.
If you've never thought about it set some healthy boundary lines in your life, now could be a great time. ✌️ Kate x
P.S. The freshly updated & improved The Invigorated Life ebook will be released this SATURDAY 1st April! Very excited for you to see and read it 😁
