Miler Lagos (Colombia, 1973) "Three rings dating" made of 5,000 newspapers sheets. Miler Lagos' sculptural works and interventions invite the viewer to reconsider an object's material properties. By rendering paper, sculpting foam, and re-purposing materials like rubber and Formica, Lagos produces objects which appear to be made of solid wood or cast bronze. While his works initially seem to be revisiting disputes between the original and its copy, his choices of material or subject matter often engage with local environmental or specific political concerns.

Anish Kapoor and architect Arata Isozaki designed and built the world’s first large-scale inflatable concert hall in Tohoku, Japan in 2013. The mobile structure, called Ark Nova, was designed not only as a venue for concerts and events, but also to spread hope throughout the northeastern part of Honshu, which has been ravaged by earthquakes and tsunamis. The structure, which organisers say is a world's first, measures about 18m and 35m wide when fully inflated with room for about 500 guests.
Yinka Shonibare's sculpture at a private collection. Yinka Shonibare (1962) is a British-Nigerian artist living in Brixton. His work explores cultural identity, colonialism and post-colonialism within the contemporary context of globalization. He is well known because of his sculptures, installations and video art. The hallmark of his art is the brightly coloured dutch wax fabric he uses. Yinka has a physical disability that paralyses one side of his body, so he uses assistants to make works under his direction. #yinkashonibare
