The ego is your self-image; it is your social mask; it is the role you are playing.
When we move from the ego we feel an intense need to control things. We do this because we believe this control will gain us some form of external power over people and situations.
This need to control is a need that is based on fear.
This fear comes from a lack of love.
Remember, there is no fear in love, there is only peace.
Take of your mask today and say with me;
Today I release my need to control.
On any given day, we will attract someone who sees us, hears us, reads about us, or is referred to us who desires to join the flight plans that we have crafted for our life, business, or career journeys.
Whether they are friends, significant others, family, clients, employees or partners, we must provide notice of the protocols and access requirements to board our flights. The specific entrance points in our journey may not be labeled with a neon sign, but as Kings and Queens we ought always to ask for boarding passes. Boarding passes let you know whether to sit the traveler in coach, premium, or first class tickets. You'll also be able to find out whether they can offer help - in the event of an emergency, can they help others if seated in an exit row?
Let's talk about exits. Your protocols should also include an exit plan. The more success you desire, the more important it is to plan for an exit. As we mature, we get to the point where we can identify seasonal v. lifetime travelers. However, very few plan for the departures. If we do not plan, a sudden or poorly executed departure can disrupt your flight.
No one jumps off a plane in motion. Yet in life and careers, we often have to deal with many departures and carry out ejections WHILE flying.
Think about the purpose of a flight plan. If an exit is necessary, protocols are in place to land and let passengers off, or to initiate procedures for the exit doors and SAFETY rafts, life vests, and tools to be deployed.
Safety for you, your plane, and your flight must be a priority. Establish how to move passengers on and off your plane.
A word of wisdom: Not all passengers will comply. Some will panic, others will be unable to remember what they agreed to, and some will cause outright harm. No one will go through life without meeting at least one of these. Plan for it in your life and business. Get you a covert, on-board AIR MARSHAL. Someone beyond the recognizable attendants who can handle people and business.
Then sit back, work your flight plan, and enjoy the ride.
I had a blast teaching and hanging with my fellow @gmbfitness trainers last weekend. I will be teaching a few workshops in July! Click the link in my bio and grab your early bird ticket for my GMB Fitness Handbalance workshop! #gmbfitness#gmbtrainer#calisthenics
Now although I can now straighten my knee, it still has not met its full potential.😉 Here are a few movements I have added to my routine. (Note: I always listen to my body, if there is too much pain, you should never push-thru, especially in rehab) 💜Hip Extensor Stretch: my R knee is the side I am rehabbing so I allow myself to hang back from the bar and lift the opposite heel to maximize the stretch along the backside of the knee. (Progression: lifting the opposite foot off the floor )
💪🏼Thank you to my sweet friend, for sharing this idea with me.💪🏼 💜Pelvic Curls with extended legs: this allows me to strengthen the hamstrings while working on balance, spinal mobility, and core strength, & of course stretching the back of that knee!! 💜Prone Hip Extension: I focus on pressing my pubic bone into the mat while keeping both ASIS (2-boney landmarks on the front of your pelvis) evenly against the mat. From there I lift from the glute to raise the leg. More hip extensor strengthening! (Always do both sides-you don't want to walk in circles)! 😉

You can relativize everything. The moon, your mind, his love, her doubts, their fears. I'll burn the damn bridges down one day. Bridges like "causality", which connects the cause to the effect. No one has ever seen "causality" and yet all the world speaks of it. I can touch it as badly as Jupiter - a gasball. Down with the bridges! Down with the doubts. #relativize#stillinlove#unconditionally#control#causality#handleit#touched#off #🐦
