I remember a point in my life when I was finally starting to feel well enough to get out of the house (this was back when I was incredibly ill) but I didn't really want to because everyone always asked, "so what do you do?" Obviously I’d been super sick and didn’t have a “do”. They weren't trying to make me feel bad they just didn't know what I was going through. Now whenever I start a conversation with someone I've just met I try to ask instead, "what things do you enjoy right now?" Because honestly a lot of us don't know what we are doing but we DO know what we enjoy! (How do you handle awkward conversations?!)
As promised before, here's how our lesson plan worked out on the 9th of September! 📝
Through the Infinity Net activity inspired by Yayoi Kusama, we wanted to teach the kids the concept of "limitlessness". Kusama was from a troubled background and worked hard to achieve her dream of being an artist. Through this, we taught the children how they too have endless possibilities regardless of anything and how perseverance is important. The core value for this class was Patience which Harshada depicts perfectly, as shown. 🌟
And this was only possible due to Acryplast, one of the companies that @drishtinjain and her family own. Acryplast is a leading manufacturer of international reach and reputation. Over time, they have become one of the largest and most trusted names in the industry.
This success is due as much to the integrity of their approach as to the exceptional quality of their materials. Check their partner company out on www.justrightinc.com !
More on our process and tactics used in class this time, tomorrow! Stay tuned ❤️
What if we used social media to share more ideas with one another.
What if instead of taking photos of our food, we cared less about the social validation a filtered piece of meat can bring us and we were more interested in sharing an idea to challenge our thoughts.
What if the next time you go to take a photo of your food, instead you take a photo of the book you’re reading and share your favourite quote from it. It might just spark a conversation. "We actually feel happier with less. When we're overloaded with opportunities and options, we suffer from what psychologists refer to as the paradox of choice." - Mark Manson #shelfie#conversationstarters#quoteswithmost#ideas#thesubtleartofnotgivingafuck#markmanson
I've taken all of our Vitality #essentialoils and placed them on our dining table. Not only are they easily accessible to add to our water, tea, coffee, or food as we eat, they make a fabulous conversation piece and inspiration for use! "Mom, what are you putting on your broccoli? Lemon? Oh, can I try some?!" 😍🙌 I can help you get these sweet little bottles in your hands. AND you'll get a little gift from me upon sign up. Message me to find out how to get started! #wellness#purpose#abundance#goodeats#cooking#familydinners#familytime#conversationstarters#beequipped#effectchange (I only ever recommend using Young Living essential oils for internal use. Many other Essential Oil brands are labeled Do Not Consume because they are not of the same quality as YL EO's and the effects could be harmful.)
Hmm, I think I'd have to say Target. Seems like I always go in there for just a couple of things and end up buying one of everything else! 😂 Can anyone relate? ~
Moms, what store would you pick? Dads, what about you? What store do you think your kids would pick?? #makedinnerspecialagain#conversationstarter#mommade#kidapproved
Happy Labor Day! Be the smartest cookie at the BBQ with this fun fact:
Has anyone ever told you that you can't wear white after Labor Day? Back in the early 1900's, summer vacations were a necessity to escape the heat at home. Breathable "fun clothes" were usually brighter (and often white), so returning to your day-to-day donning white apparel was the equivalent of showing up to a board meeting in board shorts (a major fashion faux pax)! The good news is that unless you're into Edwardian customs, this rule no longer applies! Have a safe and happy holiday, everyone!
So today was a great day got to get a good workout in and then after that got hung out with my friend, and went out to get burgers and beers. Great conversations and great time it's amazing how in a short amount of time we got to be so close, not just in business but in life as well.
Coaching has helped gained some amazing friendships it's pretty amazing, and not only that but we have one common goal as entrepreneurs we change people's lives
