#marchmeetthemaker Day 8: The title today is Where? I thought I'd talk about what its like living here. So I'm currently living in this awsome converted staddle barn (interesting story in the comments) seen above. I love it (except for the spiders). It's actually a listed building here in England so I feel privileged to have been able to rent it. I'm out in the country with the sheep and birds of prey just outside my door. The closest city is Reading, UK where I have a part time cycling job and it's a short train ride into the centre of London which is great because my mom lives there and I've been able to partake in many London activities that I missed out on when living in the southwest of the country.
A throwback to the beautiful converted barn I stayed at in East Sussex. Blue Doors Barn B&B was such a calming and relaxed atmosphere filled with so much character with each barn featuring unique interiors.
I've been toying with this idea in my head of booking a night in a hotel to myself (one with room service, please) and just focusing on writing and building a craft that I fear is becoming stale in my mind. Writing for the blog, writing for the newsletter and writing just for the sake of writing. Almost like a form of indulgent therapy. Do you think your writing changes or improves or evolves when you write in a different environment?
