On Fridays we like to treat ourselves 💕We made a linguine in vodka sauce with some simple Italian sausage mini meatballs 🍝Love vodka sauce bc it cooks super fast and has a lot of flavor. Perfect for when you don't have time to slow cook a bolognese for hours!
Try this Italian ricotta cheesecake from my book NET! Italian with almond ricotta for a delish vegan dish!
Coming from a Latin American background I was intimidated by cooking. It looked complicated to me, I felt like I would never learn how to cook (which is like a sin in my family haha) but I took a different approach: simplicity. I stopped trying to cook exactly like my mom and instead create my own creations. My mom's cooking will always be my mom's cooking (aka DELICIOUS Domincian food : ) but I found that I began genuinely enjoying cooking when I put my spin on it. The more simplistic, the more enjoyable, and truly the better it tasted. Don't be discouraged, cooking delicious meals is definitely a skill you can adopt with some practice and trial and error. Start somewhere, anywhere but just start. Who cares if your first plate is too salty or overcooked. Keep at it, be confident, and enjoy the process of learning. You will get it.
I've been MIA because of finals but I'm finally DONE! #Isurvived 👍Now on to a month of winter break! This cold weather is perfect for soup. This is a classic tomato soup recipe I found on Chowhound. It was delicious! Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Friday!!! ❤
