I've gotten some great feeback, so the Friday posts are now coming at you on Sundays. I've affectionately named the new block "Sunday Afternoon Scrolls" (🤣🤣think I'm funny, y'all.) The "woman" vs. "women" mix-up is always odd to me when I see it, because you would think that the same thing would happen just as frequently with the words "man" and "men"....but it doesn't! Remember, ya'll...Shirley came to Barbara as a WOMAN because she was a single person😳. While we're on it, stay safe out here and don't get caught by the grammar police 👮🏾♀️for adding an "s" to "women" since it's already in the plural form. In some ways, your website is kinda the same.
Just because you got it done a year (or more) ago or even 6 months ago, doesn't mean it can't do with some improvements. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's some quick fixes you can keep an eye out for:
- Your heading. Does it simply spell out what services / products you offer your customers?
- Are you guiding your customers to make a purchase decision by outlining their pain points and then providing a solution with crisp, persuasive copy?
- Do you have a clear CTA on each of the majorly important pages (Home, About, Services)?
- Do you have old, outdated or stock imagery that needs a freshen up? (Hint: I can't recommend using a profesh photographer enough!)
- What icons or graphics can you use to spice things up?
