That precious moment when you think of nothing and leave everything, like your pulling a trigger yet your pulling a bar, like your body is telling that you can't but your mind is telling that you can, its just priceless. #preciousmoments#corestrong
The hacked IG filed
I have lost hundreds of post content that will never be recovered. They were more than just a shallow "hey look at me" post. So for the files that I did have saved else's where will have a chance to touch the one or two or even hundreds people that they may resonate with. #corestrong
Head of Customer service @JoanneAllen was out on Fri night participating in Mid Summer Run. She caught up with loads of EVB ambassadors including Kelly Marie who is back running a few months after baby no 2. Great evening for it. Fab to see so many women protecting their core in their EVB'S. #corestrong#reduceimpact#pelvicsupport#midsummerrun#postnatalfitness
I got to @zooculture early so I could use the yoke walk without people laying around at the end of the turf like it's some kind of hookah lounge.
Did 10 laps with a top set of 3 plates. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️
I'm going to start treating a round lower back in the deadlift like my butt coming up on bench - a missed lift. So my top sets have to be the highest I can go while maintaining form. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️
I'm finding that if I consciously push my hips back more it loads the hamstrings and keeps my hips lower automatically. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️
Did a few heavy singles to see if the form carries over, so far so good.
Core and More at 6.30am: the ladies are holding a 'bull dog' pose for 30 seconds. If you look carefully their knees are just off the ground. Try this move next time when you are working your core. We also held the banana pose and boat pose. Great work ladies! #coreandmore#bulldogpose
Everyone was benching @dieselgymnj some way shape or form.. short rest breaks.. @samcholifts good looks on the liftoffs..my forearms are fried pulling and pushing with the axle..dips with the anchor chain and enjoy using the isos to keep everything balanced @westsidebarbellofficial @proloccollars @lifters_with_attitude 🔮 #zerchstrength
Walkouts and working a few more inches wider on stance..kept my accessories heavy and felt great to go back to sled conditioning after a few weeks off @dieselgymnj @proloccollars @westsidebarbellofficial @lifters_with_attitude 🔮 #zerchstrength
My (sort of) abs wanted to participate in #nationalselfieday , so I obliged.
It's not easy for me to post pictures of my body and actually feel proud. Body image issues plagued me for most of my life and it's only been the last couple of years that I've been genuinely proud of what I look like and how I feel (mostly how I feel). 💪🏽 I've had lower back issues for the majority of my adult existence - herniated disc, degeneration, sciatica - I've never really taken anything for the pain, so I've always just dealt with it and accepted it as inevitable. Periodic treatment from my chiropractor and RMT have been helpful as well, and I've always been sure to implement their take home strategies on a regular basis, but my back pain was always present, even if it was very mild at times.
Recently I've been focusing heavily on building core strength, not for aesthetic purposes, but for relieving and treating pain, tension, and inflammation. Regular yoga and abdominal workouts have been such a game changer.
I know I'm not chiseled, and I don't think I'll ever be, but I'm pretty damn proud of the fact that as I gain more core strength, my back pain and physical limitations disappear. Not only that, but developing strong abdominal muscles makes me less prone to potential future back injuries. This means I can play sports like baseball, golf, and volleyball again without the constant worry of "throwing my back out". It feels really good to be fit for the purpose of feeling good rather than looking good. **Planking is one of my favourite ab exercises. I'd love to hear some of your go-to exercises for strengthening your core so I can incorporate them into my exercise regiment 😊
